So same as Richland then. Paper launch at CES in January with availability in March or April.

Ritchland Desktop was anounced/released in Computex 2013 June and was available the same moth. Where did you see a paperlaunch ??

Kaveri Desktop will be released in CES January 2013. We will wait and see if it will be a paper launch then or available the same month.

Sorry I don't see it. Haswell i3 37W GPU performance should be pretty competitive against A4-A8 Richland if not faster. i3 CPU is faster, Richland isn't fast enough.

Core i3 is not in the same segment as A4-A8, also current i3 CPU is not faster than A10 6800K and we havent even touched OC yet.

I suspect you are conflating fixed development costs (which are amortized over the volume of product produced for years and years) with that of the incremental production costs (a per-wafer cost adder) added to a manufacturing line for new nodes.

The development cost, which must be amortized, is what drives the volume requirements for the node, whereas the "more expensive process" is generally (strictly) required to add no more than a 20% maximum cost to the wafer versus the previous node such that the xtors themselves realize a 30% cost reduction, node on node, when the areal reduction is factored.

An incredibly exact and to the point piece of information. (and you can be sure it will be ignored totally forthcoming).
It is a pretty straightforward read though, the improved cost must not be greater than the improved yield. (and leaves room for a little yeild++)

That was for Mobile Ritchland, we all know it takes time for OEMs to bring out finished products.
Desktop Ritchland was released in June and it was available the same month in stores.

AMD will release Kaveri Desktop first this time and i expect availability the same month. They already have said shipping will be in late Q4 2013 and they also have said that Mobile will be H1 2013(April - May ??)

Kaveri is delayed by more than 6 months. On feb 2, 2012 analyst day AMD presentations showed Trinity as 2012 APU and Kaveri as 2013 APU. There was no Richland so as to speak. that was a marketing job at AMD to mask Kaveri delays. Richland is a mere clock speed bump to Trinity with some firmware changes to reduce power consumption in notebooks. trinity shipped in notebooks at computex 2012. if AMD had executed according to schedule/plan Kaveri should be out by late Q2 or early Q3 2013. saying kaveri is on track to ship in 2013 is just rubbish. Kaveri is a 2014 product with actual retail availability in Feb 2014. AMD's bluff has been called. :whiste:
