Another college football season over, another championship to the SEC.

Bring on the hate.

TCU would've gave Auburn a better game, Oregon feasted on the likes of UCLA, Arizona State, Washington, Portland State, New Mexico, etc.

lol TCU couldn't run the ball on Wisconsin. Auburn's D-line is 2x better than Wisconsin's

I still don't understand why someone would be a fan of a conference. In most sports, teams in the same division develop a rivalry. Why would you root for your rivals to win anything? As a Giants fan, I don't want the Eagles or Cowboys to ever win a Super Bowl. The Redskins wouldn't be so bad, because they're just sad. I still wouldn't root for them.

Recruiting. Next question please.

People in the south are proud of the type of ball they play down here. Basketball teams in the ACC sometimes root for each other in the title game as long as it isn't Duke - North Carolina.

College conferences are nothing like NFL divisions. There's a level of pride with schools that goes beyond just sports. And when you play 70% of your games every year against that conference, the perceived strength of the conference has a large effect on the perceived strength of your team. In a sport where perception wins championships, that's important.

Ah, I wondered how you became so delusional 🙂

Please point out anything delusional I've said besides me being hired as coach.

I don't care if I'm typing on my phone, I will still drop down the college football knowledge and stats like a ton of bricks.

SEC - The premier dominant conference.

Really? Saying "The SEC won the last 5 NC games means they're dominant" isn't true- only 2 teams play for the NC.

Again I will point out that the SEC went 1-1 in non-conference games this year against ranked opponents, played more 1-AA teams (as a % of total non-conference schedule) than other BCS conferences, and played more 1-A cupcakes (as a % of total non-conference schedule) than other BCS conferences.

Add to that the fact that the SEC was only 5-4 in bowl games and Auburn beat a "Pretty Boy" Oregon Pac-10 team on a last second FG and I'd say the SEC was anything but dominant this year.

The SEC can boast what it has been boasting for the past several years, the single best team in college football (according to sham of a system that exists), but to say that is dominant is foolish.

TCU would have gotten stomped. You want to talk about who played who, looks at TCU's competition. 70th in SoS, Auburn was 4th. Not even close.

Yes obviously SEC is the best conference. Has been for a long, long time. You're foolish to claim otherwise. Every announcer says the same thing.

So the SEC finished 5-5 in bowl games and Big East teams smacking down Kentucky, Kansas State, Southern Miss and Clemson? Preach on preacher.

wow I'm so out of touch with sports I had no clue a championship game was tonight and i certainly couldn't tel you who played
