Yep, and WELL-DESERVED. Yes another SES-level gov civilian, cramming the party line that "everything's fine" down everyone's throat despite obvious facts to the contrary.

Make no mistake that she will be well taken care of though. She'll change jobs and move (at taxpayer expense) to another gov job where she'll make the same money but the position will be a lot less visible.

And if she's forced to retire, she'll get hired at a big civilian company that's run by a Dem-leaning board and still make big money.

This is no diff than what happens with Republican-nominated dept heads. Scooter Libby was "disgraced" but I think you'll find he's doing quite well now. Yeah, yeah, he got disbarred. What you don't see is the good old boy network ensuring his continuation at the top of the financial food chain.

This harpy will turn out no differently.

And yes; I do think Obamacare is the worst thing ever foisted upon the American public. :colbert:

Any civilian operating at her level is at least an SES-1, probably an SES-2. Her base salary is about $130K/yr, not including locality pay (cost of living adjustment), which in DC is considerable.

Based on her assumed age (she looks to be early 60s') she's definitely retirement eligible (retirement with a govt pension not including Social Security). Assuming she doesn't owe out tons of money, if she retired today she'd be very comfortable.

Also, people that have achieved that level of success are always in high demand in the private sector (sometimes regardless of the black marks on their record).

She doesn't have to "retire" retire if she doesn't want to. The witch.

And yes, when you get up to a very high level even failure look good. Its kinda sad thats how our society operates. Maybe if you suffered for failures you wouldnt have as many?

First of all... quite a bit of gender bashing going on here. If she were a man would he be called warlock? Every administration has its Michael Brownie. GW knows that too well. But to her credit, in the end ACA reached its goals. But the whitehouse would be wise to inject fresh blood for ACA open enrollment round two.

Confirmation hearings for Sebelius' replacement should provide an opportunity to review data regarding those sign up numbers. We may know the real truth at some point instead of the current truth being provided by this regime.

Does it even exists?

And, sorry, the past of $750 a month health plans was not the alternative,.. it was what we wanted to move away from.
