Edit:

BTW, where are we meeting? Saturdays are pretty busy down here.

Coffee shop across from the entrance to the market. :)

lol, there are like a dozen coffee shops in the area. in fact i think two or three of them are right across the street for pikes place.

you could always meet in front of the first starbucks in pikes place, you cant miss that one.

Holy god I hope you don't ramble on without taking one single breath or break for thought in real life! :p Don't worry about it. I'm 23 this month (but I act like a 12 year old).

I'm 20. Can't be that weird. :)

As for which coffee shop, chill guys! The only coffee shop that is on the corner directly across from the main entrance to the market (the entrance with the big red sign!) It's the ONLY one immediately across from the market entrance.

hmm...i will consider going...
i was actually at the pike place market for the first time this morning! i have lived within 15 minutes of it my whole life and have never been there. i stayed at the ace hotel last night after prom. got to bed by 530am, got up at 8am. went to pike place at 9am. had a huge peanut butter cookie and bought flowers. it was fun. it was especially fun because i was still pretty drunk. rasperry vodka, malibu, and tarantula shots can get to you pretty good :)

edit: pic of me before prom (far right w/ bowtie)

We're just meeting up there, not gonna stick around. It's the easiest landmark I can think that everyone should be able to find without searching at all (plus, I'm directionally impaired). Once we hook up we can find some less populated places to go.

We'll meet there first for anyone who wants to be in Kent beforehand. We can arrange that separately. When I dropped in to Russ' place the first time, I asked him what it would take for him to come to a netmeet. He pointed to the parking lot and said, "you'd have to have it right there." So....

How long do you want to hang out there (and come out smelling like cig smoke, ugh)? He closes at 1:30, I'd give it about 30-40 mins to get into the city to meet at 2:00.

Well, I'm a smoker so it doesn't bother me one bit. Why the hell does he close so early!? Meh. Either way, I'm not sure I want to spend loads of time there. I want to meet/talk to him, but I'm not exactly shopping for parts. Well, I'm always shopping for parts, actually. :D

I was thinking meet there around 1:00, hang for a little bit, and then head to Seattle.

Sounds fine to me. I dunno if Ken's going to carpool with me or not and that's going to be the defining factor. Whether he wants to get up early enough to get up here in time to get up to Kent by 1pm.
