I can understand WHY it is require in the front sit but at the back too? It is fucking bullshit. Whatever happen to free choice? This is nothing fucking more than a stupid money grab; I never understand WHY it is against the law to not buckle up; why is it up to the state that decide they will fine you if you don't?

People SHOULD have a choice of wearing seat belt or not? If they happen to die.... too bad.... people die all the time; it shouldn't be against the law it don't harm anyone else. This sick bastard SHOULD be the one being haul off to jail, not Blago.

If shitting on my freedom ONLY saves money and nothing else, then yes. I will pay the fee when my customers brains are splattered.

But aside from that, the law has a vested interest in saving people from themselves. My issue is that most of the shit that gets passed in the name of the general good is actually bullshit.

Since seat belts actually work I see no reason to fight them.
 
What about those that are injured by not wearing the belt?

I think the annoying red seatbelt light that sits in the middle of my gages/gauges did more to get me to buckle up than the law ever would have.
 
You ever stop to think that your corpse flying out the window could cause harm to someone else too? Ever seen what happens when a deer is hit just right and the body impacts the windshield? And the passenger in the back will kill the passenger in the front. Man is this Really that upsetting to you?

But while we are at it who cares if I have a couple of drinks too and then drive right?

The government makes it illegal to use freaking marijuana, to protect you from nothing that I can think of. But when the government requires that you buckle up, which will definitely save thousands of lives each year and prevent many, many more serious injuries, you have a problem with that?

Get your priorities straight.

By all means lets have freedom to go without.


Lets also give insurance companies the freedom to charge more if you ticketed for not wearing a belt.

Lets also make sure that if you injured during an accident while not wearing a seatbelt, the govt will not be there to fix you up.


I am all for the right to do what you want, but it works both ways.

Yup has nothing to do with saving lives and trying to minimize you being a drain on the system when your ass is turned into a quadriplegic during a low speed crash that would be avoided by the simple act of putting on a seat belt.
