Frostedflakes, those voltages were with a digital mulitmeter. Granted it is a cheap one (~$10.00 on Ebay) so I'm not sure how accurate it is but their tech support agreed with me and I sent it in. New one comming soon.
"THG recommends Seasonic for its 600 watt S12, a highly efficient and quiet power supply." Tom's got 83.4% efficiency. I thought the magic 80% was some industry rating standard. PSU manufacturers are already raking it in:Originally posted by: furballi
if a PSU is capable of consistent 87% efficiency, then it would carry an 85% rating and a higher price premium. Why spend more money on fancy electronics when you can't charge more to recoup the cost? An 85% efficiency rating would CLEARLY differentiate the Seasonic PSU from its competitors.
I thought the purpose was to argue pointlessly with one another? The purpose of this forum is to share knowledge.

Looks like the price is fluctuating again!
Keep watching... I bought my 600w at $106 last time and over that weekend the price changed several times.
Good luck!

I also got in on the $106 deal.
Sometimes, when your presented with a win-win deal, you've got to jump on it.

Well bleh. I just got a call from e-wiz saying the S12-600 was out of stock and my order was cancelled. The rep stated they should receive more stock on Sept 20th and to try checking back around then.
I wonder if they're really out of stock, or if they'll suddenly have some in stock again once they change the price back to 130 or 160?

I got an email asking if I wanted to cancel or wait...I chose the latter.

This happened to me last time. Once your order is cancelled it's out of the system. They don't offer backorders either so when they get them in, expect to be charged the regular price.
