Frostedflakes, those voltages were with a digital mulitmeter. Granted it is a cheap one (~$10.00 on Ebay) so I'm not sure how accurate it is but their tech support agreed with me and I sent it in. New one comming soon.

$130 shipped for me...

Looks like the price is fluctuating again!

Keep watching... I bought my 600w at $106 last time and over that weekend the price changed several times.

Good luck!

"THG recommends Seasonic for its 600 watt S12, a highly efficient and quiet power supply." Tom's got 83.4% efficiency. I thought the magic 80% was some industry rating standard. PSU manufacturers are already raking it in:

"power supplies currently represent one of the highest margin segments in the market. We have information from reliable sources that in certain cases margins are being obtained in the high triple digits for devices purchased directly in China. Other peripheral PC components do not afford comparable profit margin, with the exception of cables or plugs"

I thought the purpose was to argue pointlessly with one another?

I also got in on the $106 deal.
Sometimes, when your presented with a win-win deal, you've got to jump on it.

I think it dropped below 107 earlier (I had an email alert) but it went back up when I went to check. But I already bought a powerstream... so maybe it'll drop again for those who want it.

if you guys want THE BEST, get a pc power and cooling one. their prices have come down. only $199 for the turbo-cool 510XE

Yea, the 106 deal fluctuated. Like it stayed on for 2 hours, and then jumped. 5 hours later, it went to 106 again and died within 2 hrs... You just gotta be patient.

I got in on the 600W for $106 deal and it was SWEET.

It's a shame how many people are trying to downgrade the quality of the Seasonic S12 powersupply line. I'm starting to believe maybe some of them work for competing companies. 🙂 But I don't think you can currently find a better powersupply overall at 106 dollars.

Well bleh. I just got a call from e-wiz saying the S12-600 was out of stock and my order was cancelled. The rep stated they should receive more stock on Sept 20th and to try checking back around then.

I wonder if they're really out of stock, or if they'll suddenly have some in stock again once they change the price back to 130 or 160?

it's officially out of stock now...
it's not even listed on their website.

I put one in my shopping card, placed my order, and on the final order page, it shows Out of Stock!!! ARGH! 🙂

I got an email asking if I wanted to cancel or wait...I chose the latter.

wise move. i missed it again 🙁

This happened to me last time. Once your order is cancelled it's out of the system. They don't offer backorders either so when they get them in, expect to be charged the regular price.

Wow, that sucks for me then. 🙁

Well, they have the S12-600 back in stock, but at $160 shipped now. And they have plenty too; I was able to add 999 into my cart. 🙂

They cancelled my order...now they have them in stock for $160!

Strange. Maybe if you keep checking back, as DLeRium suggested, the price will eventually fluctuate back down to $106.

Just what I was thinking when they cancelled my order earlier. That just reeks of bait and switch. I wonder if anyone who ordered at today's $106 price had an order that actually went through?

I was on the alert list for when the price dropped below $110. I ordered as soon as I got the email today and the order went through. Like others I got an email asking if I wanted to keep the order open and have it shipped after the 20th which I responded that I did. I then received another email saying the order is cancelled. I doubt anyone got one for $106 today but I fail to understand their logic. This doesn't help their image.
