Hey everybody I normally don't post to this forum because I am not expert like some of these guys but I have to tell you about a workout that has given me fantastic results without getting boring at all.
Go to sealfit.com and it has a workout of the day and they are hard as heck to complete.

If your looking to bulk up and get huge then obviously go with the noramlly suggested starting strength. That is a great book and I have had a lot benefits from it.

I play a lot of sports and I thought that starting strength was getting me big muscles but was not translating to the field. I was looking for an all around approach to getting fit and building explosvie speed and power. This has certainly done the trick as I am sprinting faster and hitting homeruns much more often. To be honest I don't have the same size arms or chest but I do look more balanced than I did before.

I hope someone finds these workouts as useful as I have or just does them for a weekend challenge. They truly are fun to do.

Happy lifting everyone!

Sealfit is the Navy Seals version of Crossfit. Crossfit is the original program and its goal is to develop "general physical preparedness", which means it does a balanced job of developing all aspects of fitness: strength, power, endurance, stamina, speed, etc. For the average person trying to improve their athletic abilities, Crossfit is probably the best choice, so I recommend you look into it. However, there are a number of programs out there that bias Crossfit for very specific goals: for example, Crossfit Endurance is tailored for endurance athletes, Crossfit Football is tailored for football/rugby, and Sealfit is biased for the demands of soldiers such as Navy Seals. The underlying concepts are the same: constantly varied workouts that consist of functional exercises done at high intensities. However, each different program will include extra work to improve in some particular area, such as extra running/rowing/biking for endurance athletes or extra strength/power work & sprinting for football players.

good point I will look into those. Maybe the football crossfit would be better for me.
