Three WD 250GB @ $83 + $107 = $356 + shipping, so what's the hurry. I'll wait when the 750s get down and affordable.
I tried to get a 7200.10 as a replacment for my dying 7200.8. They didn't let me for RMA. Their excuse was there are none available. But they're giving me a 7200.9 at least.
I would like to see the 250GB one benched. It's based on 133 GB platters I believe? Or is it still. I remember for the 250 it was a 2 x 133gb platters with the other 16gb disabled....
Keep in mind that some of those numbers are specifically in relation to the amount of space available on the drives. Don't let that jade your view (positively or negatively) of these drives, or others in the comparison.
