I don't see why they would cancel them. They've been putting up hard drives for cheap to clear out their inventory. I could see if they oversold, but I doubt that will happen if they have a decent checkout system.

If sapiens74's report about charges on declined cards are true, I bet they might have very well oversold. Theirs does not look like a solid checkout system if that could have happen.

I was reading around on the site and noticed this:

"When is my credit or debit card charged?
You will not be charged until an item is shipped to you, and will include the relevant shipping charges and sales tax (if applicable)."

My card was charged right when I ordered. Did this happen to anyone else?

I see temporary authorizations on my credit card, but no actual charges. Yes, it does lower your available credit, but it is not something that will appear on your statement (until they run an actual charge).

I don't know how debit cards work as far as temporary authorizations.

Anyone get a shipping notice yet? I haven't and I ordered on the 24th at like 1am...can't believe I finally got in on a deal!

I ordered mine at 3am EST August 24th and it is still in process. I tried to talk to someone about it through customer service, but I have no patience and hung up after being on hold for 10 minutes.

I ordered on the 24th as well, very early on before the deal got mobbed by people. I got the confirm emaila nd they have charge my card and extra dollar or so. No tracking info and says my order is "In Process" been this way the whole time. I hope this ships
