Darwin was a man, an imperfect, temporal being with flaws and biases just like the rest of us. He was wrong on a number of things, causality of variation and "pangenesis" for instance. Evolution via natural selection was bang on the money however. There is simply no denying it.

It's interesting that so many christians give the bible an incredible amount of 'interpretive elbow-room' (effectively chosing what parts they want to believe/support) yet the same type of consideration becomes anethema once Darwin is brought up; it's either all or nothing. Fascinating...


I think people like you need to compare and study the fundamental differences between organized religion and the scientific method/community before tackling debates like this. Just a suggestion.
