nm. I'm angry at the ongoing 5-4 radical right defeating the people on an ongoing basis.

Wait, newsflash! Turns out that if you agree to something -- by signing a contract explicitly saying so -- you are going to be bound to that agreement? Heavens no! What is the world coming to?!

And I will laugh the next time that a company overcharges you for something, refuses to fix it, and then does it again monthly after the arbitrator they chose decides in their favor.

Arbitration was designed to keep disputes from wasting time in court, but it has simply been turned in to a tool for the corps to screw the consumer at will.

A lot of people here are saying arbitration doesn't work, or works to the big companies' benefit. Can you guys provide some proof of this?

And as far as the priviledge of taking big companies to court - BAH! They have all the money and the lawyers. They can drag crap out forever too. Try fighting a big company in court.

I'll say it again, this is a strike against trial lawyers and they are no friend of the 'little guy'. Jeebus, a freakin coupon is what we the consumer gets in those cases. We're losing the chance to get a freakin coupon (while trial lawyers get millions) and you guys are getting upset over it?

Yeah, those radical righties almost defeated the people's right to have government seize their property and give it to some mega rich person or corporation for the greater benefit of government. Thank heavens our four good Marxists convinced one dastardly corporatist right wing radical that government is always right and individuals have no property rights unless they are wealthy enough to pay lots of taxes, else the wholesome Marxy goodness of Kelo v. New London might never have happened.

You must save lots of time picking out clothing, what with being a cartoon character and all.

Class action law suits are a lawyer's wet dream, they're the only ones who benefit from it. Companies who sell shit products will die to competitor's who don't, as per usual. Bought a shit product? Don't buy it again.

I thought you liked States' rights? USSC just upheld what the state supreme court ruled in the case.
