Maybe he will announce that we are now going after Syria or NK before the end of the year.
Well, it isn't without the Propagandist trying. Look at the BS that's been in the news of late re:Iran (which has largely been out of the news during the whole Iraq war) Plus, they haven't gotten Bolton the PNAC into the UN.

I am sure that with one phone call, Bush could initiate hostilities with any of the above mentions countries.

As some have insinuated, that he would willing generate a scenario to justify actions.

Since this has not happened, it would seen that some of the "sky is falling" crowd is still munching on crow and their mouths are too full to apologize.

So where's your apology for no WMD's in Iraq? You've been too busy excuse-making and sucking on the blood of dead corpses to be apologizing.

What apology was needed.

Saddam was trying a shell game and bluff. He was called. He wanted WMD; he had them at one point and was willing to get them if possible - not for lack of trying.
He showed that he was willing to sacrifice his country in order to keep himself in power.

The amount of dead corpses are much more from the "freedom" & foriegn suicide bombers than what the US forces are creating. Much more Iraqis are being killed from them than from US forces as collateral.

Does anyone look at what Saddam did over his 30 year control?

He needed to be removed.

My only complaint is that the lack of prepardness for contigencies if the execution of the war did not go as planned.

The execution was done properly, it was the lack of control due to the halo factor that has caused problems. The US felt that Iraqis would welcome us as liberators (aka WWII - Europe). Most did, but the expectations that were built up and the frustrations of those shoeved out were not planned for.

Aren't you all glad this didn't happen or were you all looking forward to another invasion?

Never expected it to happen.

Ritter was being pushed out of the spotlight and needed his media fix.

I can't stand it when i hear people trying to justify the war in iraq. Just because Saddam was an a-hole dosen't mean we have to send our kids to die. It's not our problem but it is a problem for people who have massive corporate interests. It's just sad. I felt like driving my car off of Interstate 95 earlier when I heard Hannity shooting his mouth off like an arrogant horses assss. I can't stand loosing our boys and girls over there for big business. These years as of late have been depressing, I want the ninety's back.

Nineties are not comming back.

Also, if I recall, in the nineties, Saddam was invading countries, killing people, support/encouraging terrorism, threating other countries with WMD, launching missles at non-combatent countries and in general circumvent rules that limited his ability to do the afor mentioned.

He was not going to go away and was trying in every way possible to become worse thn he was.

hey eagle, what friggin proof do you have that he had wmd when we invaded, and that he was going to use it on the US? The intelligence report was a fraud and fabricated. If you can "show me the money" then I will understand, but you somehow have linked 911 with Iraq and I can't seem to get that. Now, if you listen to the talking heads out there day in and day out, then I can see how your brain has become infected with confusion and a loss of IQ. I'm a lifelong Republican but I can no longer support this administration. They are not republicans, they are a different breed. I don't see one once of conservatism coming out of this President and you know it.. Pull your head out of the sand.

PS - I know the ninety's aren't coming back, but isn't it nice sometimes to think of happier times? I think so.

I have not said that he had WMD when we went in a second time nor was he going to use them on the US itself.

When he had WMD, he showed that he was willing to use them on his own people, those that he was in combat with and also on other countries that he was generally pissed off at.

He had continually attempted to acquire and was also continually preventing the inspectors from searching for such items.
He also could not provided the evidence that what he had previously was destroyed.

I have never stated that Iraq was behind 9/11 - you are either not reading previous posts properly or are inserting your own opinions into my words.

I have stated that Iraq supported and sponsored terrorism and that some OBL people were in Iraq. It would be a leap of faith to think that Saddam did not know this; he had an excellent security apparatus and people were unwilling to do thins without his permission.

The nineties may have been happeir times for some, however for many it has been no different than what is currently in the mix.

Hey Eagle, I hear ya. I'm just so mad that we are loosing our soldiers over there day in and day out with no end in sight. I think most Americans are numb from hearing it everyday, but i'm not. And for what? I don't want them to die in vein. I really beleive we are creating more havoc over there. I look at it this way. If someone invades my country and kills someone in my family, say my brother, I would go bezerk. Imagine if that happened to us Americans? We as a people are extremely loyal to our country, IMHO. I would go out and try to kill every last one of those mofos. Right now we are creating in a sense a whole new generation of people (that already disliked us) and we gave them a reason to go blow themselves up, for killing someone near and dear to them. I know our boys aren't killing people for no reason, they are just trying to survive, but in the long run, I think we are worse off.

I put the blame on this administration, which I unfortunatley VOTED FOR IN 2000.

Uhhhh, duh Ritter merely means that Bush signed off on the War in June, not that the US would start dropping bombs five minutes later. Hell,Bush signed off on Iraq on 9-12-2001.

I guess Ritter would have been a crazed idiot back then for the mere mention of a War with Iraq huh??

Your not reading or comphrending this. Scott Ritter claimed in February that the president received and ALREADY signed off an order for ariel attack to being in June 2005. It's now July 2005 and this has not occured.

I think it's BS, but maybe occurances since have cancelled the idea, like his sliding approval rating, and such. They might have fully intended it but stuff happens.

Makes it difficult to prove a negative happening.
