Why bump this thread?

Anyway, government didn't do those things, people did. Govt, like religion, is just a fiction that people make up.

Aren't you an advocate of that fiction?

Since when?

Since you told me to vote for Obama and also said you believed in 'limited government.'

Oh hey, it's you again. Weren't you planning on leaving to found some anarchistic society somewhere? What's the holdup?

I'd say you miss the mark wide. What I believe is that a certain, but preferably minimal, level of organization is ideal to human society.

Your quest for certainty will end in failure. Sorry. :(

Where do you see a quest for certainty in what he said? Your comment makes no sense to me.

The only issue I see is what minimum is ideal. It strikes me that may boil down to opinion and evolve over time according to changing experiences.

There is no hold up. I'm already working on it: Text.

Wait, your solution is to go live under the sea? (okay, over the sea).

This sounds about as realistic as the rest of the anarcho-capitalism deal.

First you ask me 'what's the holdup?', then I inform you that I am working on a market anarchy project, and then you disparage the project.

Meanwhile, your political bantering on the Internet continues to advance society by leaps and bounds...

In any event, we look forward to your donation.

Well I asked you what you were doing in the service of your anarchistic goal, and you showed me a project that I consider dumb. What am I supposed to do, congratulate you on wasting your time?

Do you not congratulate yourself on wasting your own time in addition to the time of everyone reading your political slop on the Internet? I think you probably do.

If you can't tell the difference between someone recreationally talking about politics on the internet and a group of people trying to set up magical floating sea countries, that would explain a lot about why you're an anarcho-capitalist.

Something floating on the ocean is 'magical?' Interesting theory of physics.
