It's the Best Buy car. I'd like nothing better than to see that treadmill stop dead and the car go through the wall of the facility into the offices and take out whoever owns BB. Then I would be happy.

Wouldn't happen. At the moment the treadmill stopped dead, the energy the car had would only be the kinetic energy of its tires. Simply not enough energy to propel the vehicle forward as you described.

Wouldn't happen. At the moment the treadmill stopped dead, the energy the car had would only be the kinetic energy of its tires. Simply not enough energy to propel the vehicle forward as you described.

It'd be one hell of a burnout though

Hmm..I assumed that the car would actually be going.. as in, the engine running, etc. But I guess that wouldn't be necessary for wind tunnel testing...
