School cop throws high school girl to ground

There are a lot of people in this thread that don't seem to understand that it's a police officer's job to use force in order to enforce the law. If you don't listen to him, he is legally empowered to force you to comply with his orders.

This girl didn't listen. I feel zero sympathy. I bet she'll listen next time.

Nebor has achieved zero empathy. He is now a hollow husk of a human. Enjoy feeling zero emotion toward another human.

So everyone else has to move, because one fucktard cannot follow directions?

This thread just proves that the left will pander to the lowest common denominator.

Is this really your opinion? I'm talking human to human here. A teenage girl is being stubborn (not violent) and you are okay with an adult male flipping her over a desk and dragging her around the room? Surely you feel something when you watch that other than camaraderie with man tossing around a non-violent young girl.

If the taxpayers have to pay anything is because of bleeding heart liberals like you.
Nah, we should change everything the school does just to cater to 1 person who will probably be dead in 20 years anyway. Example: peanut allergies, metal detectors instead of just expelling people then charging them with trespassing when they show up again, needing police at every school because the teacher is not allowed to do anything, having dozens of "administrators" who talk to shitbag parents instead of just expelling bad kids.

The cost of public education in Washington DC is up around $30k per student per year. We can do more to make that cost even higher. Instead of expelling the stupid kids and recording them as write downs on society's balance sheet, we'll throw even more good after bad. Fuck old people and their "social security is underfunded" nonsense. Just hurry up and die already. We need to spend that money on people who will never have a job.

not listening to authority isnt bad behavior. Civil disobedience is completly fine. And you arenrewarding anyone. You are punishing the system for taking away someones rights.

Every person that was there and has spoken out about this has not mentioned anything about the girl hitting the cop. But people in this thread repeat that she may have hit the cop. Its bullshit and a red herring designed to create doubt on a situation. Racists and Im glad the fbi is looking into it.

If you watch the video you see that as soon as he puts a hand on her she reaches up and throws punches.

Is he supposed to let her catch him in the face?

Now reports are saying that there are other videos that show her throwing punches more clearly.

Edit: If you refuse to follow an officers instructions he/she has every right to make you comply. Bad behavior or not, call it civil disobedience or whatever.

It is expected that the officer is operating to ensure the safety of the community at large when he/she provides instructions for you to follow. It is part of an officers training and oath as a community service provider. If you don't comply, you become the problem.

The word "entitlement" comes to mind when I see posts such as yours.

If she threw a punch, why are only the neocon racists at anandtech and stormfront talking about it?

Meanwhile in the real world this "cop" is on unpaid leave right now.

edit:

Im sure the word entitlement is constantly bouncing around inside your head. Lurking in dark corners as you walk by.

It is pretty obvious that he was already slamming her backwards before her hands come up. Even the police chief doesn't care about the girl's actions:

Students in the classroom stood up, confused about what was happening. Mr. Scarborough said that he and his friends were trying to defend the young woman, but the deputy told them to “sit down or you all will be next.”

Sheriff Lott said Tuesday evening that investigators had reviewed another video — the third to emerge since the episode — that showed the student “hitting” Deputy Fields “with her fists and striking him.”

But Sheriff Lott, who said he was “very disturbed” by what happened, said that he was more focused on the deputy’s conduct than the student’s. “Even though she was wrong for disturbing the class, even though she refused to abide by the directions of the teacher, the school administrator and also the verbal commands of our deputy, I’m looking at what our deputy did,” Sheriff Lott said.

So not only does the guy slam down a young girl and toss her around the room, he also threatens the other students as well. At the very least, he shouldn't be stationed at that school anymore because he does not know how to interact with kids.

But to the neocon racists the sheriff is a democrat so he cant be trusted.

Question : When did police become the go to choice to discipline children?
Answer: When risk management forced schools to abdicate their responsibility.
Don't like the way police handle your special snowflakes? Don't call them for what is NOT in their job description.

My opinion is that this whole incident would not have occurred if she would have listened to every adult that instructed her to put the phone away, and to leave the classroom.

How many more people were needed to get her to pay attention and take reasonable directions from adults?

1) Teacher says put phone away. Student ignores
2) Teacher tells leave room. Student ignores
3) administrator comes in tells girl to leave room. Student ignores
4) cop comes and tells student to leave. Student ignores.

--- How much more talking needs to happen?

From watching the video many times IMHO its not excessive force. Once you get to a point where you have to physically remove a person, it can take a great deal of force to remove them when they resit. And she did, she held on to the desk which caused it to flip over, and was still holding on when he pulled her a second time, her releasing of the desk then caused look like she was getting thrown around.

The moment it was decided that force was going, the outcome is excatly just like I expected it to turn out. Its a liberal fantasy that it would turn out differently. If you belive this was too much force, you must also believe that chicken really just comes in a nice package you get at the store, and not that it was some live animal that was killed for you to eat.

Force is force, can it be excessive? sure, in this case, it looked to me like the right amount to get the girl out of her seat.

What I feel, is that once again liberals are taking the side of the trouble maker and pissing on cops. They might as well be chanting 'pigs in a blanket, fry'em like bacon' along with the black lives matter movement.

People should never call the police on anyone. The risk of death for you and them goes up significantly when you bring in the average iq authoritarian with a gun. There are very few situations that a police officer would ever be warranted and in those situations they wont even go in.

You need to research the story better. The teacher asked the student for the phone. She did not ask the student to put the phone away.

It's funny, not even this guys' boss is defending him but you have a number of people here not just saying what he did wasn't wrong, but reveling in his violence towards a child.

That is pretty damn shameful.

why isnt this troll banned? all you do is troll

no I dont. I try not to post that often. When I see people use dog whistles to justify violence and subjugation of black people in this country I will come to their defense. If you dont like that then you dont like that but that doesnt mean my position isnt valid.

What are you saying?

I love how you guys play stupid when someone quotes you. "Ehhhhh, so what are you saying? My comment about "special snowflakes" had nothing to do with race!"

I gotta give it to yall, though. You guys can come up with some code words at the drop of a hat.

The sheriff is right. Its not about the girl. Sure, the girl didn't listen and sat in her seat ignoring orders. She is being a complete butt and should be disciplined with a suspension or detention or whatever the administration feels is justified. It isn't about the girl's inaction. Its about the cop violently tossing around a non-violent minor child in a school.

Many kids do this exact same thing in classrooms across the US and, somehow, the administration finds a way to deal with it other than body slamming and violently hand cuffing the child.

Can you imagine every offense in a classroom like the girl's being met with force like that? I don't want to live in a country like that, which is why I'm against this man's actions.

Its shameful that bleeding hearts like you and the liberals have made the climate so hostile towards cops now, that even when they are removing trouble who cause trouble, they have to run for cover.

Plus please show us, who is reveling in the violence towards this 'child'.

This 16 year old who could be tried as an adult.
