Trump’s done. If these allegations are true, he abused a secure data system to hide the politically compromising and most likely criminal context of his conversation with the Ukraine.

Impeachment must move forward.

It would be a dereliction of duty for someone credible like Mitt Romney to NOT challenge Trump for the GOP nomination in case somehow Trump doesn't get removed via impeachment. You may prefer the policies of the Dem candidate but it's hard to argue that Mitt isn't a legitimate candidate who would be credible and competent at being POTUS if elected over the Dem.

Ummmm... Did Nunes just say the Democrats wanted nude pictures of Trump?

If you think Romney and every other GOP politician had no idea any of this was happening I have a bridge to sell you.

OK, for sake of argument let's say Mitt knew. You may feel differently but I'd still pick Romney over Trump an infinite amount of times even assuming "he knew what was happening."

Yeah having a competent person buttfucking the country would be preferable to having an incompetent person fail over and over.

Didn't the RNC slap down any possibility of non-trump candidates? Wonder how busy they'd be if they tried to fire up a round of debates at this point. I still think it'd be smarter of them than backing Trump at this point, that's like an albatross wrapped around an anchor wrapped around Moby Dick.

Yes they did.

Really? That is what you have People, Person...

don't you care about what things say?

are you actually suggesting that person is the same as people?

do you believe that "people" refers to an individual human?

There was no clearing or exoneration to be done by Mueller or his report. He was to investigate and provide a recommendation on charges. The Mueller report ultimately concluded that there wasn't "Trump-Russia collusion" and the evidence didn't support obstruction charges.
Mueller was not taske with providing a recommendation on charges. Again--this is plainly explained and if you are literate and read the report, you would no that. He found 10 points of possible obstruction charges and laid out the moudns of evidence for each one, point by point.

If you read it, you would understand. The report couldn't be more clear. You choose to believe in fairies, however.

The call was so perfect and non-criminal they they had to hide the record in a database intended for the nation’s most closely guarded secrets.

Nunes is going to hang himself if he keeps running with this rope.

So there is a transcript per usual procedures and we were given the least damaging material as expected.

I think someone built an unattended fire in a very dry pacific woods. I wonder how many thousands of acres of political timber are going up in flames.

We just need to rake the woodlands, problem solved.

Going back to the complaint, found it interesting that Rick Perry travelled in Pence’s place and continued discussions with Zelensky.

Conspiracy theory territory disclaimer: Why is the Energy Secretary involved? Because Trump was laying a trap for Zelensky set by Putin. Ukraine could have peace (on Putin’s terms) and continued aid from US, or walk away with nothing.

So just a bit confused, was the summary transcript released because the White House was still trying to cover this up or because the word for word transcript was in fact destroyed?

Seems to me like if it was the former then it's lying to Congress, which is what Clinton was impeached for. If it's the latter, well, that's criminal all around.

There was likely never a word-for-word transcript, I don't think they literally record everything in/out of the WH/Trump's personal cell, I could be wrong about that though.

yep, they've got stuff on Nunes, too. and Lindsay. I guess folks like Paul Ryan are in the clear because, even after resigning, they are talking shit about Trump instead of toeing the line. I think Ryan and those types are compromised when it comes to RNC finances, as it relates to Cohen, but they are in the clear with Trump and his oligarch masters when it comes to blackmail of a national security level...unlike Lindsay Graham and Nunes. Those too are behaving as if their balls are in a vice controlled by Trump/Kushners/MBS/Putin.

They must have closet pictures of Lindsay at his latest lemon party or some shit.
