Diabetes is when your sugar levels are high? You go blind, fall into a coma and die after a while, if you don't take insulin, and sometimes, even then. What doctors often don't tell people, and is learned in elementary school on biology class, is that everything you eat, your body first turns into sugar. So to avoid high sugar levels, you need to eat a lot less then you're used to.
There is a great more to then that. For example, fiber will slow down the turning food into sugar. Refined Carbs are the biggest problem here as there is little to no fiber in them.
 
so far my meds and diet are doing a decent job of controlling my glucose. My last A1C test showed a 1 point lowering. That is not bad at all.

The holidays are hard on me and I know I am not alone on this. So I am hoping for another drop when I go for my next A1C test.
