5. This semester is KILLing me. Next semester should be much more relaxed and I should have some free time, so, probably a 7 by then.

Im going to go with an 8.

No job. Dont need one.

No financial obligations. All I have is a $50/month cell phone bill, everything else is paid for through finacial aid and scholarships.

No responsibilities other than going to class. See above two.

Looking like a 3.72 for the semester. Mid term I had under 2.25

Get to party regularly. Though not as much of a social life as I would like.

Its not a 10 because I dont have a girlfriend.

About a 7. Happily married, good family, but not many friends. Job is okay and it pays quite well.

just doesn't cut it!

Bite me. 1 B gimme a break. Its in Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory. I bombed the first test and got Bs on the next two.

I transfered from JuCo to a University. There ended up being a bigger change than I expected. Professors are worse, they care less about their students, and class sizes are 3-15 times the size. Plus, leaving all my friends for the past three years, having no friends to start with at the beginning of the semester. I was in a funk the first half of the semester. My mid term avg was around a 2.25.

I'm just messing with you, that's a much higher GPA than I had back when I just had school to worry about. What's your major?

Political Science. Not the toughest of majors. Though I have a bitch of a class were the test avgs are in the 40s/50s and 80=A, 70=B, 60=C, 50=D. Without a curve no one would have an A, a couple would have Bs, dozen or so would have Cs and 75% of the class would have Ds or Fs. Thats out of a class of ~130.

Funny thing is, I pulled a 4.0 several semesters while working full time. Granted I was at a JuCo. Im just glad a got a full tuition scholarship, or Id probably still be working full time because I would have been short close to $7k a year.

Was hovering around a 1 for the last 2 months but I think I'm at a 1.5 and climbing now. Finally have some financial security, a nice house, and a car that isn't on the verge of crapping out at any moment, but it's come at a high price. The problem is that my dad passed away in a sort of extreme way back in august and as a result I've involved myself in something that I'm not entirely sure I can handle yet. Time will tell I guess

- I don't like my job, but have no confidence to look for another.

Well, should make the rest of you thankful for what you have. Even I can count some blessings. I think I better do that now...

:(

Where was your house? I'm from Biloxi, MS and I just moved back down to the coast today.

As for me, I'd say I'm a 5 or 6. I'm part of the "Meh" generation. No real highs, no real lows.
It was/is in Slidell. It's a shell of a house now. I can't even drive by and look at it anymore.

3 or 4, seems that my life is in a rut at the moment, nothing to look forward to. I have fun sometimes, but still no social life, school is meh (at least I'm not failing) and the girl situation here is crap...it's been like that for a while now. :( Things should get better though, that's what I keep telling myself...

If a 10 means I'm happy family-wise, and also financially independent, then I'd say I'm a good, solid 9. Need to remember those lottery tickets.

I would say a solid 1

Job sucks - pay is god to great but I have nothing to do and I am bored out of my mind (Did I mention that I am in the middle east?)
Social - Just got mind ****** real good Solid negative numbers there
Financial - paying off debt at an accelerated rate - 7
Karma - Apparantly I am paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate

Can someone shoot me?

I used to live in Slidell. The southern part of the town got really messed up. I was fortunate enough to live on Audubon Dr, so it was fairly high ground. Sorry for your loss.

6.5 to 7.0

No big problems, I am just not quite where I want to be, yet. I have a solid relationship that is going somewhere, and I make decent money, I just need a little more. Oh and I am working on getting published, that alone would add another 2 points.

what it is... 9. what i sometimes feel.... 4.

I have to stop and rethink things sometimes to make me realize how lucky and blessed i am with what i have.
Sometimes we have to REALLY squeeze those lemons to get even the tiniest bit of lemonade out of life but knowing it could always be much worse, and being appricative of what we have is half the battle.

I would say an 8. School is fun. I am working at a job that is actually counting towards my career (Geek Squad) and I'm a Freshman in college. No PC tech experience professionally and I am making $11.16/ hr.

The only thing that could make my life better now is if they called off this 14 page English paper on the 14th, and if I could meet a girl actually worth pursuing a relationship with... meaning not just being with me for my money, car or house. I need to start meeting girls not at parties.

With my present situation of finals week, having to work during finals week, unresolved problems with my ex GF, a job that barely makes me enough to live on let alone have a social life, the fact I don't have a girlfriend and that I might fail out of school after this week.

I rate my current situation a 2, just because I am healthy and alive, but if you remove all of the crap listed above then it would be a 9! Just because nothing is ever perfect. :p :D
