I never had all that TV-show fun throughout HS or college (but who really does?).

I give it a solid 8.

I certainly did. It sucks now that its over. I will never have that much fun ever again.

But now I must say my life is about an 8. And in a few months it should be a nine, only missing that sugar momma to make it a 10.

School 7. junior year of college. Way too busy, but it's ok.
Work 5. I work for my parents and do practically nothing and still get payed well, but I don't feel like I am contributing very much, which I'm really not! 😛
Girls 0. I've been on two dates since I got out of high school, even though I was a fat kid in high school and now I'm in shape... go figure.
Friend 10. Couldn't be happier with my best friend I've got. He always helps me get through the tough times and is a great guy. I just wish I was married like he is... hehe.

My life has been turned upside down in the last 4yrs, last year having the most significant impact. And then another hit in the last month or so.

Where I am and where I want to be is a big big gap. Almost to the point where I feel it's not worth trying.

I actually wouldn't feel so bad if I got ran over by a drunk driver tomorrow. Really. It'd be more of a blessing.

9 easy.

Over the summer when my fiance and I decided to postpone our marriage I was feeling a little down. My grandmother was in the ICU most of the summer and that didn't help either but overall life's been good.

The Holidays always cheer me up as they should everyone.

I may end up on academic probation after this semester in college because it went so terribly, and one of my best friends is dead and its still tearing me up to remember that.

But I live in a country where my basic rights are respected, where I have lots to eat, a warm place to sleep, there are no civil wars, and no one dies of plagues. I have a family that loves me no matter what we may argue about, I'm healthy and young, and I have a strong ambition to bring something better to this world.

So on the basis of all that, I still give myself a 9.

🙁

Jeez man. Don't give up... keep your head up.

I'm down to about a 1.

- Lost my house and everything in it in Katrina (oops, no flood insurance).
- Separated before, Divorced after Katrina.
- Brother has terminal cancer.
- I don't like my job, but have no confidence to look for another.

Well, should make the rest of you thankful for what you have. Even I can count some blessings. I think I better do that now...

🙁

3.5
A lot of things aren't necessarily going the way I want them. Its actually a portion of my life that makes it a 3.5 - there is one thing to me that would be a 1...and its actually very important to me. Everything else is going on 9-10. I have a lot of fun, i study a lot ]actually maybe this instant i'm closer to a 2 😉 4 finals next week 🙁 engineering sucks lol!] I have a internship, i reallly feel i'm learning my material, but that I still have a chance to grow and mature in many other respects. Maybe I can't go out and chat with people as much as I want to, but that is because i'm studying so much (Which is why i'm around my computer so much 😉)
...I see the direction that i'm going at is one that can be potentially exciting and enthralling...
but its just that one little thing that drags me down from a 9...and as far as i'm concerned...I just don't see myself getting up from there regardless of what I do.

Of course though - life is sinosoidal, and god willing it will not stay here...but when it goes up, I hope it goes up with a slope...so when i'm make my full 2pi distance and come back down, I'm higher than where i'm at right now

In all truth, now?

8 out of 10.

I am single, and I've been single for going on my sixth year. I've started to fear I may be single the rest of my life, but that's just the silly anxiety of a lonely young man.

I have a satisfying job with one of the top accounting/consulting firms in the world, and I'm in good financial shape. I have a family and a good group of friends that I enjoy and love. I'm intelligent, and I have ambition, and I'm not too ugly. I'm overweight, but I've lost 25 lbs or so in the last four months and I'm still losing weight, so there's light at the end of that tunnel.

So, despite the occasional bout of loneliness, life could be a lot worse, and I have much to be thankful for.

6

When I get out of undergrad and into law school = 7
When I graduate law school = 8
When I have my first (and only) kid = 9

When I'm a success in my career and family life = 10

1 Gonna slip to 0 soon. Exams starting, been living on 4 hours of sleep this past week finishing bull for the same bull course.

Where was your house? I'm from Biloxi, MS and I just moved back down to the coast today.

As for me, I'd say I'm a 5 or 6. I'm part of the "Meh" generation. No real highs, no real lows.

6-7. Doing well in college, but I have lots of studying in the next week to keep my grades up. Otherwise I'm perfectly content.
