I just got back from Europe, did white water rafting, skydiving all this year. My gf just took me out on a fancy date last night too and my friends and I are going ice skating tonight. I just got a promotion back in May.

I think I'm a late bloomer and this year's been one of my best year of my life so far....

Strangely enough all this started to happen when I stopped playing video game altogether...

A rock solid 8 😀.

Feeling pretty good about my life at the moment and it has been on the up for the past 4months :thumsbsup;. This time last year it was a 3 (split with gf of 4yrs, back injury = no training, not really socialising much, just felt 'meh' about life and stuff, nothing terribly bad but the back injury was the worst a long with the split, job was okay and not what I wanted).

Fast forward to now, back much better (9months injured with sitting out, rehab and building back up excruciatingly slow, Dr's wanted to cut me up with surgery...but one weekend my back felt a hell of a lot better! Hit 3 PB's at a comp 4hrs ago, club lifters did well, came 2nd in Nationals U23 Championships 7 weeks ago), training 10x a week, seeing a great girl, job is great with fantasic people, prospects are fantastic for the future and I can earn a lot of £££ later, social life is great, busy with life and training, family is all good and I'm looking at buying a house now 🙂. Just happy everything is going fantastic again.

Keep your head up and be positive and you can get through some ****** periods.

Actually, that is too high. During the last couple months i have spent ~$800 on plane tickets to see the girl i love and ALL have been cancelled by her. Girl gone. Money gone. 🙁

sorry dude but then, women are horrible investments. It's easier and just about as effective to actually just burn some $100 bills.

5. I'm ok, but i'm in engineering school and i have very little social life. I sometimes think thats just because i don't put myself out there enough. I'm ok on money and car and all. School is hard. i broke up with my GF about a month ago because she was a skank and all she wanted to do was argue and F*ck.

I'm loving college. I don't have a job, party all the time, still make good grades, and I'm going to hook up with a fine ass girl next week! But I'm hungover right now, so about 8. But give me a couple of hours and I'll be back up.
 
I've got about a 7 right now.
-2 for clinically depressed ex who I see a lot
-1 for school, and school debt
+'s for good family, a couple good close friends, and a decent living

I'd be great if my ex would just find another guy already.

Grad Engineering School: 3

Overall, pretty good. Very worried about possibly making a D/F in one class, which is really bad for grad student..I'm trying but just illprepared and not as smart as some of these foreign geniuses! Proud of myself for building a great network of friends in a totally new city in a short time, where I knew no one. Still keep in touch with all of my close friends from college, who I miss. Miss my ex-girlfriend too, and realize how great she was every time a new girl doesnt live up to expectations or I don't live up to the new girl's expectation

Thanks for the sentiments. In retrospect, i think throwing 8 $100 bills out a window would be more satisfying than burning them some how. Basically, i paid $800 to figure out that it wont work with us anymore. I guess that means something. It probably means that im a god damn dope.

FWIW, im off to a show (StraylightRun). Hopefully, there will be some cute girls there just dying for attention. 😉
