Say what you will, but Tebow freaking wins.

Mark my words right here and right now. Tebow will have a relatively decent season next year as the starter (if the broncos truly get behind him) and they will once again compete for a playoff spot.

Coming out of the AFC West, with such powerhouses as Oakland, San Diego, and Kansas City, Denver can compete for a playoff spot with a < .500 record. How bold of you! 🙄

LOL. You would think after going 1-4 in his last five games, you'd stop with this nonsense. Heck, he's only the starter going into training camp, not the regular season.

“Well, I think Tim’s earned the right to be the starting quarterback going into training camp next year,” Broncos boss John Elway declared

John Elway near a hard place with Tim Tebow plans

Elway begrudgingly sticks with Tebow in 2012

Based on their 2012 schedule, they'll be lucky to be .500 again.

2012 NFL Opponents
(Dates to be determined)

AFC WEST
Denver Broncos

Home: Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Away: Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers

wow that's a brutal schedule in 2012 for them. I am seeing them finishing 3-13 next season with that schedule if Tebow is their starting QB next season.

im glad the majority of the people posting in this thread that show they have absolutely no clue about the NFL don't post in the other NFL threads.

San Diego isn't a bad team. Really, neither is Oakland.

Tebow can and will improve in the offseason. He can throw the ball decently, he just needs to work on throwing into coverage and making quick throws. Really, that is the weakness in his game. He doesn't throw quick strikes, in terms of release time as well as decision making. If he can fix that he will be a serviceable starting QB.

SD and Oakland are both fairly average teams. 8-8, 10-6, nothing really spectacular. The Broncos getting into playoffs will benefit significantly from being in a weak division. If you put them into any of the other AFC divisions, they'd get nowhere.

Tebow can't throw the ball well, have you seen his spiral? Calling it a spiral is a generous phrasing, actually. It wobbles. Most QB's would call that a bad pass, slipped out of the hand, et cetera.

The difference between SD and Oakland, IMO, is that San Diego had big-time talent on both sides of the ball and their window of opportunity has probably been closed due to losing players (such as Sproles) and the fact they inexplicably keep Norval on board. Oakland, on the other hand, has developing talent and could be a force in the AFC if they land a decent HC and straighten out their front office.

With the disarray in Oakland and the continuing collapse of the Chargers, Denver had it pretty easy in the division this year. That may not be the case in years to come.

ok this thread can die now. We don't have to discuss the broncos ever again.

i agree!

therefore i am bumping this thread so it goes back to the top of page 1!

(although i won't lie it is amusing to read about football from so many people who are uninformed about football)

I'd add that KC is up and coming also. Without the injuries, they would have had a much better team than Denver.

Tebow has more weaknesses than you care to admit.

Even by your own admissions, Tebow would need a lot of work just to become servicable. Do you REALLY want to put the amount of work necessary to get him to that level? If you devote that much time and resources to a single player, you need to get some kind of payoff. Tebow's payoff is that he'll be mediocre. The sooner Denver realizes Tebow isn't worth the time or effort, the sooner they'll be looking for an actual solution.

at least change the title "say what you will but gorcorps is a teabow dick rider"

*shrugs* I've never really liked him, but I do enjoy how much others hate him more so I'll ride that bandwagon until you all break. People hate him so much... it's the easiest thing to troll with both online and off.

It's not Tebow we hate, it's the unrelenting media coverage he gets for no good reason. Ride the bandwagon all you want, we'll break laughing at you, the village idiot...

The Colts organization is so messed up right now that they might be stupid enough to land up with Tim Tebow as their quarterback next year.

😵

They got fooled before when Elway refused to play for them in Baltimore. Now things are so screwed up in Indy that they could be bamboozled into giving away their number one pick to the Broncos for Tebow and a raftful of draft picks. The reasoning might be that with a new coach and Manning's future uncertain, Tebow might be a better fit for their style of play. Elway and Fox have a burning desire to get Luck in spite of what they said yesterday about Tebow being their guy.

Chicken or egg? Does the media cover Tebow because so many people hate him, or do so many people hate him because the media covers him.

there is no way the colts will trade luck away for Tebow.

I don't know what's funnier, how much you hate him or how much attention you're giving this whole thing with your hate. Can't make something go away if you keep talking about it... positive or negative.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some reading to do.
