LOL, everyone is playing through injuries at this point in the season. But again, it's tebow, so let's make a big deal out of it.

Oh please... if there's one thing the sports world loves it's people playing through injuries. Commentators basically sucked Favre's cock with how much they praised his ability to play through anything. You've got to have a special kind of grudge against a person to say this is a Tebow thing.

Heh, comparing him to the other great, over-hyped media darling of the NFL doesn't say much.

I'm not faulting tebow at all btw, i'm laughing that someone brought it into the thread as thinnly veiled excuse for his play.

I got nothing aginst tebow either. i wish him well as i think he's fun to watch at times, and funny at others but regardless, he seems like a good guy all in all.

Well it was just an example, they do it with Big Ben all the time too.

Tebow has the opposite character, great leadership and terrible mechanics. I would argue it's easier to teach people how to throw and harder to teach people how to lead and inspire. I don't know why the defense played better with Tebow, but they seemed to. It could very well be that ANY change in the team could have sparked the defense, but we'll never know.

Mechanics won't make up for the fact that he doesn't have NFL quarterback accuracy. Yes, he has intangibles like leadership, but intangibles are a supplement to tangibles, not the other way around. If teams have little respect for the passing game, you need someone that can make them pay. Tebow can't.

Playing injured is rough and respectable. Problem with it is that blind Tebow backers are now using it as an excuse. Conveniently left off was that he got injured in the 3rd quarter. 1st half was all Tebow magic vs the 31st ranked defense.

Wait, so they are saying that he got injured but still played?

What a fucking copout, just admit your loss and bad playing.
