[I'm not a hater]
All of his long passes looked wobbly and rainbow-like to me.
I couldn't believe the Pittsburgh secondary couldn't get there in time on a few of them.
It's almost as if God was slowing down Gay... :D

Still, I'm glad Tebow embarrassed Pittsburgh.

Still can't talk about him being legit though. Now we have to way for your subjective analysis of him to be that he looks good.

Yea... just me.

Not john elway..

After Tebow had improved to 4-1 as the starter, host Gary Miller asked Elway on 102.3 FM in Denver if he was "any closer to feeling if you have your quarterback on this team?" Elway paused and answered, "No." He then pointed out that Tebow had to do better on third downs and improve as a passer.

You said two months ago we can talk about him being legit when he wins a playoff game. Two months later, he has won 8 games, including a playoff game against the #1 defense in the league. Still can't talk about him being legit though. Now we have to way for your subjective analysis of him to be that he looks good. Seems to me that you don't ever want to discuss him being a legit QB, when I think it's pretty damn obviously he belongs playing QB in this league. He's not top 10, but he's a quality starter.

he is barely decent, but he is decent enough to win. Poor mechanics, inconsistency, poor decisions...lets get real...it's his first full year in the league. He is a good football player, but at most a decent qb. At this point, I'd take him over Sanchez. But to say his is not legit? He pretty much proved today that he is.

So when I die and stand before the pearly gates, st. Peter will ask "child why didst thou disbelieve"? To which I'll say, "He never gave me any good reason to think he was really there"!

All st Peter will do is shake his head sadly and say "Tebow? 2011-2012 season? If you couldn't see the hand of god in that you deserve to burn". And down I'll go.

Is my sarcasm meter broken? More importantly, is yours?

But anyway, probably as described.

I'll agree with almost all of that. I think he, for the most part, makes pretty good decisions. But to say he isn't a decent QB is silly at this point. He's a legit starting QB in this league. That's all I've ever said.

it's his 2nd year. And I'd take dog poop over Sanchez.

I do think Tebow can be a legitimate starting QB in an option type offense because he's such an effective runner for a QB.

Could be worse, Denver could be stuck with the train wreck us Viking fans call Ponders.

I might add the tebow haters choking still is very amusing

I'm not a big Tebow fan, but I won a decent amount of money for this game. This particular one seemed ripe for "Tebow Time" with an injured QB, third string running back, backup safety and other injuries.

That and I'm a Ravens fan so watching the Steelers fail is always enjoyable.

A RB that can throw a ball. Not only throw it but in a huge game with the pressure on manage to step up cool as a cucumber and hit a bomb to make it the shortest OT ever.

Got to give him due. He does the unexpected. No one likes predictable players. They are boring.

They're not my team. But I'll make a bet to put my money where my mouth is.

Seems the proposer wussed out on his bet.

He pulled his money back and won't back his mouth.

I have to agree with SSSnail. The main argument here is whether or not Tebow can win another playoff game, not if he can cover the spread. It would seem you're the one who wussed out when you tried to change the simple terms of the bet and, when not agreed to, pull your money back.

It is his first year actually playing, you do not learn much when you just sitting on a bench.
