And very few people consume 10+ gallons of soy milk a day. A significant number of people do use 10+ gallons of gas a day.
 
we need to invade the middle east and this time take all the oil might as well bc the libs and the rest of the world accuse that war is for oil anyways
 
If gas hit $4, I'd be so absolutely fvcked. Being disabled, on a fixed income, and forced to drive a 13mpg vehicle would kill me.

That might get some sympathy from me, but not too much. I'm assuming you have a large vehicle because of your disability. It's for the greater good that people who buy big cars for the sake of buying big and using more feel the wrath of their decision.
 
If it does get to be over $3.50/gal I will have to work from home. I can't afford $70 every time I fill my car up. I have to do it about twice a week because I have a long commute ~80 miles a day. I don't make enough.
 
I'm not one to complain about gas prices, but with a 150 mile per day commute this is gonna hurt.

At 4 bucks a gallon my weely gas for work will be $160/week.

I'm a quadriplegic, I drive from a powerchair.

I just got it in May. This has to stay for over five years. I bought the van and the state of NJ paid $44,000 to modify it.

It takes a year to arrange and build one of these....and NJ will never ever help me build another...which doesnt matter because I couldnt drive anything else anyway.

Thats 8 grand a year. Time to move.
 
A guy I work with has a lifted 4x4 Chevy 2500 crew cab, he gets about 12mpg and he just spent $71 to fill his tank the other day. One tank lasts him a little less than a week.
 
The oil companies can DIAF. Oh wait, that'll really raise the price of gas.
