ISIS share of world oil production is a drop in the bucket, the likelihood of them taking more oil rich regions away from the Iraqi govt almost nil.

I'm not sure about our involvement, anyway, but whatever the reason, that's not it.

ISIS released several online propaganda videos over the weekend calling for attacks on citizens of Western countries.

According to ABC News, the video says: “If you can kill a disbelieving American or European, especially the spiteful and filthy French, or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever, then rely upon Allah and kill him in any manner or way however it may be.”

Gawd. Repubs have been screaming for action for months, and now that they get some they whine about it being "illegal".

And if Obama "wanted" a war, it was probably in response to that in the first place.

F-22s are supposedly being used for the first time in combat action for this OP. Will never know how they really performed, but would love to see the classified in-depth report.
