4 Sec's to 60 Mph and a 10 Secs Quarter miler to 123 Mph - Top end is around 170 Mph and there is no way a modern ride can compare let alone a Malibu save for a Corvette or Viper.

Not too shabby for 1970.

I had a mildly modded 1994 Mustang GT Coupe and at 130mph it got a bit scary... as in aerodynamic lift scary. I can't imagine a 1970 Camaro being any better at that speed let alone 170mph.

It's a special edition Malibu. I can't go into too many details about it. People that buy the car are contractually sworn to secrecy.

They did it right on the gt500. It was still completely stable at 150+. The only stability problems that I ever saw were that if you weren't dead centered on the wheel (I'm not talking what anyone would consider any steering input, I mean perfectly centered within a couple of degrees), you'd get a somewhat scary shimmy during hard braking from 125 MPH or so. I had a guy do an unsanctioned pass at an HPDE once going in to a turn and had to brake earlier than planned. The driver behind me was freaked out by how my car danced around a bit (but it still slowed well enough at least).

Also, the crazy guy who things a modified car capable of going in a straight line is some paragon of performance is laughably ignorant of what a high performance car really is.

Your toy car doesn't stand a chance against that mighty Camaro with its 7000 rpm MKIV BBC, Muncie, and a 12 Bolt Posi.

Ok, wait a f'n minute here..."MC Learn"? It was mentioned several times by Alk... I mean Z15Cam, and no one has inquired. Is this some sort of new car company, popular radio personality? because I cannot find anything about it. Educate me....
