Moore's a great entertainer, he makes you chuckle a lot. But God help us all if people confuse being "entertained" with being "informed".
the other thing i'd like to say in response to the film is down with Heston. that guy is such a f'ckn bigot. You can tell he's pretty dumb too when M. Moore was questioning him about him bringing over his stupid NRA rallies into Littleton 1 week after the massacre.
Actually Heston's notion of racial factors playing a role in the 'gun culture' of the United States is not at all in disagreement with some leading sociological schools of thought on the matter. If you were half as informed as you think you are, and you're not, you would have known that.
Heston has Alzheimer's disease. It is rather clear that it was affecting Heston during Moore's interview.
Remind me to call one of your family members "pretty dumb" because they are suffering from some neurological disorder.
The NRA's annual convention in Denver had been planned more than one year before the Columbine shooting. The NRA not only had absolutely no reason to cancel their rally due to a shooting they are not responsible for, but the father of a Columbine victim testified before Congress that the NRA is a convenient target for stupid people. Well, ok, not in as many words...
