You are correct about this ... we all know what opinions are like and that everyone's got one. We also are aware that moron's are in good supply everywhere. (not implying anyone here is one however)

Having said that, I'm almost 60 and in MY opinion Trump is by far the worst President in my lifetime. My father had 2 doctorates in teaching and in history from Columbia... shortly before he passed away he cried over the prospect of the man being elected. I'm actually glad he's not around to see what America has become.

Anyone defending our President right now based on the actual results of his actions is awfully difficult to take seriously.

No one is defending Trump. The USPS had issues long before he was ever elected. None of this is the results of his actions. This isn't P&N.

🙄

I bet Obama appointed people that he was friends with and donated to him too! And Bush! And... every single fucking president.
No, but assume away, cause it shows you ass. Bush and Obama appointees were career USPS employees. You know people that have some fucking idea what they are doing. Trumps pick is the first non USPS employee picked in a long time.

However Trump attended a fundraiser DeJoy hosted at his North Carolina home in October 2017 to benefit Trump and the RNC.

OBTW, Bush and Obama both appointed 18 people from the opposite party to positions. But to be fair, Trump has appointed some democrats, including if fucking son-in-law Jarad Kushner.

They invested a lot in logistics and tracking the past few years. It's expensive maintaining that kind of outfit if you can't readily identify ways to streamline processes and cut costs where necessary.

At least they're not having to pay high gasoline prices at the moment. Hopefully they're stocking up and locking in low prices as long as they can right now. I really wish them well considering they have their hands tied more than UPS/Fed Ex.

Thanks Obama.

All kidding aside never thought I'd miss old "W" .... 😛

I’ve shipped well over a hundred items and plenty of first class letters with USPS since 2006 and have had a problem exactly zero times. Anecdotal bullshit is great isn’t it?
Does nothing to erase the fact that a First Class piece of mail has now officially sat in Atlanta for five business days and yet to be delivered. No excuse. Anyone kn

I recall a Secret-Santa package one year being shipped via USPS Priority mail from my home in Connecticut to someplace on Long Island in NY.

This is about 35 miles as the crow flies and maybe 2 1/2 hours driving.

Luckily I had shipped it right around Dec 1 because it went first to Springfield MA, then to Southern NJ, then to Atlanta GA, then to Seattle WA (!!), then to someplace in Florida, then BACK to Queens NY before finally being delivered just in time for Christmas.

UPSP = Zero fvcks given. 😕

BTW, we are talking 30354-30369 ZIP code distances, which is 16 miles. Yep, it took six (6) business days for the USPS to move a piece of First Class mail. That 2.67 miles per DAY! The 30369 and my ZIP is three times the aforementioned distance (48 miles) so I will expect the item in another 18 business days. Woohoo, even better than the fucking dead pony express.
