I guess standing around in a far removed place waving placards/posters at no one in particular, accomplishing nothing other than creating false sense of moral superiority in one's self is a white man's disease.

Think about what you said - it's suggesting that citizens expressing political views is a pointless activity. If that's true, why not just ignore politics altogether other than voting?

There's a point to the sign holding: the fact that you can say what Darfur is, rather than ask 'what's Darfur', may be because these sign carriers keep it visible as an issue. But the larger question is, if groups of citizens are not having any effect on anything, why don't we look at how to give citizens more power, instead of leaving them 'pointless' and the government doing what it likes without any check from the public outside elections - which with a 95%+ re-election rate and powerful party machineries are little check anyway?

Give me the guy who cares enough to stand with a sign about Darfur over the guy who points and says 'theres no point to it', any day.

Ive read 20-30%. S Africa is at around 10%, but the north is higher. Western Africa has been settled by whites for quite some time. Look at it's surrounding continents-Europe to the north and Asia to the East.

I spent quite some time living and traveling in Africa and my feeling is you won't reach a 5% white population in the continent. And this is considering the places in northern Africa where you have indigenous white people such as the Kabils.

I understand you guess quite a lot of people must be white because those areas used to be European colonies, but in fact this is not the case. Most countries were not emigration targets for the European people, they were just administrated (robbed) from abroad via a system exploiting power nets already in place before the colonization. And during the post-colonial period most European colonists returned ti Europe.

Notable exception is South Africa. South Africa is the country in the continent with the highest white population, and still they don't reach 10% of the total.

In Botswana white people don't reach 1% of the population, in Nigeria and Kenya they are less than 0.5% and in Ghana less than 0.3%, even Algeria is less than 1%...

as for white people...they flee now. they no longer hold power and those countries are turning to sh*t or have affirmative action systems up the wazoo, the white population that can leave is leaving.
