Saturn introduces a new mid-sized sedan that doesn't SUCK!! **Updated 1/17**

Good gawd, that car is the definition of suck 🙂

Could explain the piss-poor sales, piss-poor interior quality, gruff engine, wide panel gaps due to the plastic body work...and the reason why GM has killed it 😀

My gf has had incredibly bad luck with her saturn. My opinion on the quality of their vehicles can never be recovered.

My car (2001 SL1) doesn't suck either! 😛

That car looks pretty nice, but those headlights and those rims have to go. Wretched! The interior is really nice though.

What is going on with car design these days... VW is stealing from the japanese, Saturn is stealing from VW, cats are lying with dogs, and Spunky is back...

100hp and looking like a well spanked ass = suck.

I had an L200. I've driven an SC2 and ION. None of their cars impress me. The best thing about the L200 was the mpg. But the timing chain broke at 55000 mi and all maintenance was up to date. Saturn wouldn't do a thing for me even though the factory replacement parts had been redesigned BECAUSE the OEM wasn't satisfactory. No Saturns for me again...ever.

This one looks nice but it's still a Saturn.

43 mpg and mundane enough styling to not make people barf = awesome 🙂

tell that to every single domestic vehicle my family has owned; all of them lasting well over 250K miles with nothing more than usual wear and tear 😛

I don't think i'll ever switch car brands from Toyotoa. I have 2 close friends that work for them, and when ever my family needs a car, we get great insider deals and packages...

wow.... saturn that isn't estethically challenged...now i've seen everything. The interior is gorgeous imho

edit:
man the more i look at it, the more i like it. the wheel well flares and 19" (!!!) rims give it enormous presence and muscularity. Too bad if they ever make it, it will come with 16s stock and look like ass (compare g6 concept to g6 production....)

Impressive. Any word on when it will be built?
Not too impressed by the rear. Love the front and interior, though.

My lease is up in May and I need to start thinkign about what I want.

wow. it kinda looks "japanese'esque" (like how the center console looks like honda, exterior reminds me of toyota having sex with honda/acrua for some reason), but I like the American cues like the seat color, the odometer design, the caddilac'esque wheels and fenders.

all in all, I really like it. really nice. good job gm.

It looks like a redesigned L series with some interior upgrades. The interior looks nice but it's still mostly cheap plastic. Throw some leather in a Kia and you have the same thing.

The engine looks good and they've often used Saab's V6 but unless the suspension has been improved the ride will still suck. Not to mention road noise. If it's consistant with previous vehicles, this will be an overpriced average car that won't hold it's value. Saturn's are notorious for losing about 75% of their value in less than three years.

It might look nice, but it won't be worth the money.
