Did you hear his closing statement? I think he said something about Clinton appealing this decision to yet another committee of some sort... is that what he said!?

If Clinton does appeal the Michigan Decision to yet another committee, I have two questions:

1) which committee would that be? Ickes said the name, but I missed it...
2) when will she be muzzled?!

seriously folks, this is going well beyond the ridiculous... how can ANYONE support a "solution" that would result in ZERO delegates for Obama, and still be taken seriously!?

1) Credentials committee.

2) Wednesday.

Remember, her argument only holds water as long as Supers remain uncommitted. When they start declaring for Obama, her 0.0000001% chance of winning this nomination goes to ZERO.

Credentials committee, I think. It was the committee that the head guy mentioned at the end of the meeting.

Hopefully all this will be over this week if the supers get off their asses and commit after the final primaries.

Can someone please put up a post with all of the recalculated numbers? new pledged vs. super delegate totals for each candidate, adjusted delegate requirement for the nomination, etc.

I'm too lazy and drunk to figure out the math atm..

Edit: This may help...

Michigan: Clinton to take 69 delegates and Obama 59
Florida: Clinton to take 105 delegates and Obama 67

The resolution increased the number of delegates needed to clinch the nomination to 2,118, leaving Obama 66 delegates short

I thought I heard on CNN that 2118 were needed. That might not be right, though.

Edit: I guess it is correct.

Obama's total increased to 2,052, and Clinton had 1,877.5, according to The Associated Press calculations.

2118 are need to clinch the nomination.

Luckily popular vote doesn't decide jack squat in the primaries. Otherwise Hillary would have a leg to stand on, instead of being the legless gimp she is.
