SAT Scores

Got up this morning, and remembered SAT scores are available. I went to school (Have a computer class 1st period)... teacher decided that he didn't feel like having the class there today. So im like, "OK, ok i can wait a little longer until 3rd period". 3rd period comes, get to the sight and evidently my password has changed. Ok, no biggie, just e-mail myself the temp password and then change it back. E-Mail temporary password go to the adelphia website, BAM server is having problems. All i get it "There was an error processing your last request". I am sitting there looking at the computer about to fall over. So i go back to college board, and figured out i hit send username instead of password, so i can still try passwords. I tried every password i ever assigned and then i get the message "You have been locked out of your account for 30 mins due to incorrect passwords".

I think im going to die of waiting. Am i not meant to have these or something. I swear if adelphia doesn't get there asses in gear im gonna leave them a nice little e-mail.

what school do you want to go to, and which community college do you plan to attend after receiving your scores? 🙂
 
Lol... i really want to apply to Virginia Tech (In state and very nice engineering program). I want to apply early decision, but im not sure if theyll take me on that. I need to find another 2 colleges as backups, but i dont know of any (UVA would be my second choice i guess).

you can't apply to vt and uva. it's one or the other and it shall forever decide your destiny. choose wisely.

Anyone know of some good technology colleges in VA. The only other 2 colleges that i am thinking about are out of state (NCSTATE, PSU)

Both schools are very good. Good luck with your SAT score and your application. Hope you'll get in.

im from pennsylvania, and chose tech over psu. i liked the campus better, but penn state is pretty nice too, imo. they are both really isolated...the campus is pretty much the town. but tech has a lot more to do if you like the outdoors.

plus, the hotness factor of girls at vt increased exponentially with the arrival/departure of michael vick.

If you're willing to look out of state, Georgia Tech is a pretty good engineering school.
 
so what exactly is stopping you from applying to UVA?

and isn't it a little late (or way early) for early decision? shouldn't that happen in the late summer/fall time?

lol. I remember the SAT. I took that back in 2001 ( I was, like 12, 13? Something like that.) I got an 1170. Damn was I proud of my self. OP, GL. Was the essay part a bitch?

hehe I remember when I first took it in Junior high I think I got like an 780 or so. damn those hard problems!
 
I took it before they implemented the essay part. If I went and took it now, I'd be dissapointed if I didn't get a 1600 (or 2400, or whatever).

Did you have to wait uphill both ways? 😉

Mine came in the mail too. I never understood people freaking out about their scores or taking the test multiple times. I remember one girl breaking down and crying because she got a 32 on her ACT the first time and not a 34 like her older sisters got. :roll: I wonder if she still thinks it's that important 8 years later.

Some folks put A LOT of pressure on their kids ... and it's understandable, it would suck to see your friend going to this school or this school and your stuck with a JC.
