Do they come in any form besides a can?

Was trying to figure out what foods to buy to get more omega-3's in my diet. Sardines have a good amount of them and I vaguely remember liking them when I was a kid. But for some reason I think of sardines in a negative light now. Do they have bones in them? It seems disgusting. Are there any sardines that don't have bones in them? What are ways to prepare them (besides out of the can).

Suggest a method of preparation that will get me to like them.

Your psalm 83 link is unreal.

I'm trying to think of an absurd parallel I could draw for you to illustrate the disparity of burden between condemning the guys corralled inside a giant fence like a bunch of cattle (teh evil beloved patriot Palestinians) and feeling sorry for the down-trodden military juggernaut (god's chosen people) launching highly coordinated airborne gunship assaults every time the fence is rattled, but I can't as something of this nature and magnitude is pretty much unprecedented. But then again maybe I'm off base here because I don't see anyone on ATOT justifying mortar attacks on Israel by touting a highly emotional flash based video with emotional music that sounds kind of like the intro to "here I go again" by White Snake using passages from the koran to engender support.

Gah... it's enough to make your head spin.

But yeah, how to eat sardines: not at all :p

Yes, they come fresh, frozen, dried, fried, pureed, marinaded, pickled and usually nice and stinky.

1)Buy sardines
2)Open can
3)Drain sardines w/lid
4)Put them down on the ground for your cat

Sardines are nasty.

Good quality sardines should have the head and gills removed before packing.[2] They may also be eviscerated before packing (typically the larger varieties), or not; if not eviscerated they should be free of undigested or partially digested food or feces

That is the last time I look at Wikipedia. That part really grossed me out.

go to your local fishmonger and you should be able to find sardines. After cleaning and scaling, rub salt on the fish (inside and out), let it sit in the fridge while you fire up the grill. Grill the fish and serve with lemon juice.

you can heavily salt them and smoke/fry them. You can certainly find them fresh, but not as popular in the states.
