That's pretty much it, other than breast milk is extremely important for a Downs Syndrome child. It would have been much easier to abort it back at some unclear time before it became a human but she chose not to...
But it takes a serious committment to be able to breastfeed and be on the campaign trail. I would have been dissapointed if she was bottle feeding/nannying her baby. She walks the walk there...
My wife told me this, I don't go searching for things about her boobies (other than pics).

The backshot: Shortly after breast-feeding the baby, Trig, and putting their youngest daughter, Piper, to bed after Sarah Palin's speech at the RNC on Wednesday night, the Palins came down to the hotel lobby and thanked everyone on the staff for being so helpful. She signed autographs and posed for pictures. She was wearing a black cocktail dress and looked beautiful, a source said.

In a widely quoted 2006 survey she answered during her gubernatorial campaign, Palin said she supported abstinence-until-marriage programs. But weeks later, she proclaimed herself "pro-contraception" and said condoms ought to be discussed in schools alongside abstinence.
"I'm pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues," she said during a debate in Juneau.

Palin spokeswoman Maria Comella said the governor stands by her 2006 statement, supporting sex education that covers both abstinence and contraception.
