McCain is surrounding himself with two beauty queens. This will go over well with women.

How quickly and conveniently you forgot, you're the one who brought genes into the debate.
It was only 30 minutes ago.
I realize trolling probably runs in your genes. Do memory problems as well?
You and nick haven't taken a genetics course in your entire life, have you?

Read up on the expression of dominant and recessive traits. They skip generations.

That's why McCain's mom is a young 90 and McCain is a cancer-ridden 72.

We've already suffered under eight years of an administrations pimping and pandering to brain dead religious wingnuts. The last thing is more of McSame.

10/10 for originality

Thanks. Pitty you forgot to note that my reply included another cliche, "QFT," agreeing with Jakeisbest's post that voting for a creationist whack job like Palin is, to use his word, retarded.

Don't forget to add another 1000/1000 for truth. 😎

I had hoped he would pick romney but the more I hear and read of this woman the more I like her.

If you read her wiki, you will see she is a reformer and is really known for that in Alaska.

She has gone after corruption in the party, in big buisness, and is concerned about the little guy.

She has become a rising star in the repub party as barrack has with the dems.
Only hers is a #2 slot not a #1 slot.
Only thing Barrack has ever accomplished is running for president and becoming an author. his legislative experience is limited.
So he chooses a washington insider to guide him.

I suspect she will give biden all he can handle in a debate.

I really wish it was Romney, then it would've been a competent Administration no matter who won. Now we have to deal with this creationist queen. Fuck.

Not amazing for McCain; maybe amazing for his children.

This, for one, debunks one thing Mccain has been saying, that Obama's vp pick would not influence his vp pick. Its obvious it did...

Second, she fits the republicans "three G's" standards... Guns, God and Gays.

Third, Mccain really thinks that Hillary voters just want a woman in the mix, doesn?t matter who as long as its a woman. Mccain is gravely WRONG!
Hillary voters loved Hillary because she WAS Hillary. Not just because she is a woman.

And last, for democrats this pick is moot.
Its the republicans that will have to realize Mccain has derailed the republican party from its traditional "old white mans club".
I can just feel republicans again fearing that Mccain is, as they have feared, NOT in the republican loop. Not a player. Not "one of them" at heart.

I almost feel sorry for republicans. It would be like if democrats picked Lieberman or old Zell Miller to be their candidate.
This has to, in reality, make republicans VERY VERY nervous about Mccain...
I can hear many of them saying in private... SEE, I told you so, Mccains just TOO different for us!

This doesn't do anything for moderates or ex-Hilary supporters. If the McCain thinks that Hilary supporters just want a women then he is being either extremely stupid, condescending or both. Her views are basically in line with the far right when it comes to abortion and gay rights. She only works well in shoring up the base GOP vote for McCain but really I see nothing about her that makes me want to vote for him and her at all. This seriously reeks of desperation.

Wow, the "Republicans" are desperate... Not for the choice, but in their reactions....

Like a bunch of howler monkeys on crack.....

like last night was any different. That was pathetic. Seriously, who cries at a political speech?

"Change"
...Tear...

Hmmmm..... there's no hate like the burning steaming load of a "republican."

It's rather pathetic that most of you are so starved for anything to get excited about that believe this announcement is amazing news, rather than a showing of a lackluster VP choice for McCain....

\but to each their own....

it is amazing news if you don't think so then you need to get out more. Ive been feeling that Obama would win the POTUS, but after McCains pick today i dont think Obama has a chance in hell.

McCain just wrapped up the female vote period.

LoL - If you think the majority of woman are going to flock to McCain just because of this choice then obviously you weren't paying attention to Hilary's democratic campaign for the nomination. Seriously I don't know of any ex-Hilary supporter that is a Hilary fan which includes women that would flock to McCain over this choice. It just is not going to materialize period because once they get a taste of her hard core right wing creationist views they'll be repulsed.

My moderately conservative mother was going to vote Obama...now she is going to vote McCain/Palin. My mom took one look at her and after hearing her profile on the news she said..."she's just like me" both had 5 children, both working Mothers...I think there are a lot of mothers out there just like my mom who are identifying more with McCain/Palin than with Obama/Biden...if this is true...it could spell disaster for Dems in the Nov. presidential race...

There's a reason it was canceled after one season.

A 72 year old, ex-vet, ex-POW, who has dealt with multiple bouts with cancer, needs to choose a VP that is ready on day one. Americans aren't oblivious to this fact.

You'll be pleasantly surprised to hear there is a large portion of this population that doesn't want a soccer-mom with no foreign policy experience sitting across the table from Putin with her hand on the nuclear football.

Color me unsurprised. There is still a huge enthusiasm gap between the GOP and Democrats this year. Getting Republicans to the polls on November 4th will be their biggest hurdle.

why should we be pleasantly surprised at misogyny in America?

also, Commander in Chief was a pretty decent show.

So you agree she has no qualifications for the job? I didn't see an argument to convince me otherwise.

Heh. I live here in Nome, Alaska. Been trying to find a video of me bitching out Sarah at the end of the 2007 Iditarod sled dog race for her allowing the state to break state law (still current to this date) against me. I have a feeling if I manage to dig that video up from someone it will be worth a lot more in the next few months.

How did the state "break state law against you?"

Shop it around with CNN or MSNBC; they both are ready to sink her battleship.
