That's strange, Atacom has been around for while, should be ok to order from there

The order form is secure. It is odd because it goes from http (looking at product) to https (click on checkout) to http (enter in your billing info) to https (submit billing info). So it is secure -- the page that your info goes to after entering billing info is secure and that is the imporant one. So no worries.

Got my x800 Pro from Atacom today (non-VIVO?). It came with the driver CD, PowerDVD 5.0 CD, component breakout cable, DVI to VGA adaptor, and s-video to composite adaptor. It was also delivered very quickly. Nice.

How do I tell if this is a true VIVO card? The card model sticker says x800Pro 256MB and the part number is 109-A26100-01.

It will have the yellow connector on the back of the card as shown in the pic.

No yellow connector, so no VIVO and no 16 pipes. Oh well. I should have researched a bit further. I don't plan on overclocking or playing that many games anyway, so no big loss for me.

You've still got a solid card for a very good price...I would've bought this card if it was PCI-E.

Well...if a person is really capped on their purchase price, a X800 Pro for ~$200.00 is a very good choice.

If you're thinking of spending ~$245ish for an X800 Pro (with VIVO and the "yellow" connector) with the intent of flashing the BIOS, unlocking the pipes and overclocking to reach X800XT performance, I'd suggest spending ~$50 more ($290ish for an actual X800XT AIW) with this deal for an AGP card coming up from Dell every week or so.

With the X800XT AIW, there will be no doubts about the performance AND for the extra ~$50 you get the TV Tuner, software, remote, etc.

My $0.02.
