This seems like a scam. I used a new Gmail account for Google Checkout and most likely since I used it it will count as me having used my first time user Goodgle Checkout, forbidding me from using it for the next hot deal even though this order was cancelled.
This happened once before when I tried using Google Checkout on Thomas Distributing buying a bunch of batteries. They charged my card, but then cancelled it. I re-ordered but could not use the Google Checkout since it said I had alreadty redeemed that discount. Contacting Google was fruitless too...
Ironic, isn't it? I always get a kick out of the people who get pissed when retailers don't honor prices. I'm as quick to get in on pricing mistakes as the next guy, but if it doesn't go through there's nothing you can do, just shrug it off and hope the next time you get lucky. What some people need to realize is they are not entitled, online retailers make mistakes all the time and they have every right to cancel orders due to pricing errors.Originally posted by: Netopia
I find it funny that you think they are scamming YOU, when it's you who is creating multiple Google accounts to get discounts Google never intended to give out. Just who is really the scammer?
