MisterE, you ordered 10 minutes before me and yours is listed 'sent to warehouse' while mine is still listed as 'processing'. I was wondering, did you use Google Checkout or a Credit Card. My thought was, that if you used a CC, it may be that it takes longer for Google Checkout to put orders through, and therefore might not be the best option with deals that look like they are going to go fast (like this one).

So... what did you use?

Netopia, I paid with a credit card and didn't try to use Google Checkout (deal was awesome and I didn't want to take a chance with GC). My order status has changed this morning from "sent to warehouse" to "processing," so I hope that this isn't a sign of a pending cancellation.
 
Considering I'm the 2nd poster in this thread, I think I ordered it before all of you (unless you found out about this deal before this thread, and didn't bother to tell us 😛). I used the same CC I always use on Buy.com.

Last I checked, my order was stuck on "Processing".
 
My status was sent to warehouse roughly thirty minutes after placing the order last night.
This morning it shows as processing. I'm guessing they are going to cancel on all of us.
 
Yes i ordered at around 745pm last night and it went to sent to warehouse and now back tp processing, the fool that posted this on fatwallet and other sites ruined this deal. oslama has it posted here first before the others.
 
It was also ruined by some of the fools on Fatwallet who ordered them by the hundreds. One person (and from his posts I believe him) placed 19 orders of 40 each.

Nothing like one person ordering an item by the hundreds to send up red flags at an e-tailer. :thumbsdown:
 
As great as Fatwallet is, quite a few of the deals I've seen on there are usually ruined by jackasses like that. By the time I heard about this it was dead. Dissapointing too, I could have used a 4GB drive.

Just because you've been charged doesn't mean much. It's probably more of just an authorization for a hold on the funds to make sure you have it.

For example Staples charged me for the maxtor 200 gig harddrive, and i was told it would ship to me by this next Monday. Fast forward a day and they tell me they don't actually have the stock.
 
I ordered when there were 4 or 5 posts, with a debit card, well prior to 8pm pst last night... no google checkout. My order was canceled.
