nah, 2500k is better bang for the buck. 2600k isn't 50% faster, but it's 50% more expensive. 2600k is enough faster at certain tasks to be compelling.
In F@H, you have to have at least 8 cores to get the big points units. When I was only doing the regular units, my X6 was killing my 920@3.6 in ppd. Now, all my nehalem CPU's are killing my X6 (as in 10k for X6, and 30k for my I7 950's).
So I need a 2600k with HT to get my 8 virtual cores to get the big points, so for me its worth it.
