This week is going to be for Obama what the first debate was for Romney.
Romney got a boost when, after months of political ads making him out as evil, people saw him live and thought to themselves: "Hey, he doesn't look so bad after all."
Same thing will happen here. Romney and the GOP SuperPACs have been trashing Obama for months as incompetent and uncaring and in need of replacement. And now they are seeing Obama doing what a president should, and being praised even by a GOP governor.
It won't make a huge difference, but even a small move matters.
