Is a city in California, just FYI. I have visited there many times, but will be heading there in March with a friend who has never been. We have five nights and I am trying to give her a bit of everything (well not quite everything) San Francisco has to offer. Having been there a fair amount, I feel like I am in a bit of a rut in what to chose. Anyone live there or have been there recently with some recommendations?

I've booked/planned for the following so far:

1. Alcatraz because it was very cool the first time I went.
2. The Wharf because that's a thing to do.
3. MOMA because art.
4. Booked Farallon for an upscale old school seafood type dinner. Is there somewhere better??
5. Found this place: http://www.thewilsonbar.com/ which seems cool, so I booked there.
6. Golden Gate Park/Bridge to see the bridge.
7. Booked dinner here: http://statebirdsf.com/ because her friend recommended it.

Any other food/drink/attraction recommendations? I'm up for anything really. Would be nice to see another art gallery, but I could not pick one.

Thanks in advance friends. 🙂

lazy bear
you're welcome

D: I thought swearing was a bannable offense?

:hmm:

I was actually working at a big Kaiser reference lab in Point Richmond for most of last week. I was gonna see about PM'ing you get a beer, but frankly I was so goddamned overwhelmed with their problems that I wouldn't have been available myself.

Maybe next time they send me down there.

that's precisely where the Refinery blew up a few years ago I think--did it smell and look all oily?

I'm either going to play softball or mountain bike instead of meeting y'all.

Try not to let your tears of sadness dilute your beer.

Well that's too bad. Would have been nice to meet you.

Pleasant comments on the internets?!?!?!? D: 😱

Now you're making me have regrets. Why don't you say something mean so I can do my other activities with a light heart?

(I'd actually like to meet you too.)

So you are here now seeking affirmation, encouragement? Go on man, you can play softball or mountain bike any time. Go to the gym early and meet up with your compatriots for a brew!

well, not me--I don't really enjoy the company of ketchup eaters. :colbert:

jk--hey, is that thumbdrive of Archer episodes still somewhere outside your house waiting for me to pick them up? :hmm:

The idea of a look of horror on your face while I guzzle catsup is motivation to meet you.

All Archer episodes are on my home server, but I actually think I have no thumb drives right now.

Well it was enjoyable meeting up with you fellas the other day--and I don't recall a single drop of catsup at that table. Talk about polite!

I would have hung out longer/maybe suggested something else, but I had developed some rather uncomfortable heartburn or something near the end of that meal. I don't really know what heartburn is supposed to feel like, so I'm just guessing. t'was strange; guess I am getting old?

Platypus--you should stop by the East Bay for an ~hour or so on your way back from Sonoma, whenever that is.

Yes, was great to meet y'all. Everyone was very friendly and handsome.

I ate so many oysters this trip...

Was just me and m'lady, zin and his lady, Platypus and his husband and one of his work buddies.

Hmmm.... Based on the bolded text, I retract my frownie face from my previous post. :colbert:
