No, and of course yes (things like family, health, life enjoyment, etc.). Money is most certainly NOT everything. However, money is the representation of labor productivity, a function of which is time, and if you think I'm going to just give you my time simply because you want to determine what's best for it, you can go to hell.
You see, IMO it's not that I'm doing a strawman, it's that you don't know what you're saying. By saying it's okay to waste a little money here and waste a little money there, what you're saying is that it's okay for people to waste their labor, and (as I already pointed out) a function of labor is time (and due to the temporary nature of human existence, time IS everything). So you're asking people to waste a portion of their lives, in particular that portion they spent laboring. All so you can have what you want (or what YOU think is best). And what are you giving us in return? Nothing but lip service it seems...
