Alright... I've got almost a whole computer ready and waiting. My Radeon 8500 is just itching for an AGP slot to fill.. but I don't know now whether to go with RDRAM or DDR.
I'd like to keep this cheap... I was planning on $125 for mobo, $150 for CPU, and $150 (512mb) for RAM, but I don't know if that's going to happen anymore. I could go as high as another $100 on there, if that'd help.
I was planning on going with the P4B266-C, a 1.8a, and Cruical, but Crucial's darn expensive now! I looked, and could go with bonafide "Samsung" PC2700 DDR somewhere else for less than crucial's price on 2100.
OR, I could bite the bullet, buy RDRAM and a TH7-II or whatever, and hope for the best.
What should I do? I'm willing to overclock, even buy RDRAM, I just want to get the best bang for my buck at this point.
What Mobo/RAM should I buy?
