Samsung ML-2010 laser printer, $80-$30MIR=$50. I'm still waiting on my rebate from before thanksgiving Yes, it's valid, they're still processing it.

Hitachi 160GB internal Hard Drive $70. No it's not SATA. Did you really think at $70 it would be SATA?

Seagate 160GB External USB Hard Drive $90

Pioneer 16X DL DVD+-R(DVR-R100B5PK) drive $60

That's about it.


edit: it has the old kind of HD connection.

Probably. I can't seem to remember which is the older one. All I know is my hard drives have that big gray ribbon connecting them to the MB.

I've also yet to receive the rebate on this printer from BB, purchased week before thanksgiving.
Also, there is no 2k3/x64 drivers for the printer so I wasn't so happy once I got it home. I emailed samsung support about releasing a 64 bit driver and got chewed out, there's customer service for ya

I have that printer, and it's great. A little noisy (high pitched cooling fan), but it's quite liveable and stops after 5 minutes.
I got mine from CompUSA back in November with the same rebate (appears to be the same mail-to address). I got the rebate in about 2 months.

I have always recieved my rebates,most of the time it is the sender's fault why the rebate was not sent back.Check your work (2x),make sure you have everything that is required for processing.Last, don't threadcrap on a good deal just because you don't know how do MIRs.

I've always gotten my BB rebates. You should have a copy of your rebate form and it should have contact info so that you can check on the status of it.

I have my rebate on the way, I got this printer in Nov last year, I love this thing and I will never buy another crappy inkject with absurdly priced ink again!

Well, if you guys don't trust BestBuy for rebates, you can buy this for about the same price at NewEgg:

Heck, considering sales tax this might be the same price for some people. Just thought providing an alternative method might be more productive than complaining about rebates

Both the BB rebate and the Newegg rebate go to the same place.

Those of you that have this printer, how full is the initial toner cartridge? The replacements ($88 from Staples) are good for 3000 pages, just curious as to what the starter toner is good for.

I thought it depended on what quality you have it set to. 3,000 pages on Economy Mode or 1,000 on Best mode. I'm pretty sure the same goes for the replacement toners.
