To start asking more detailed questions. I LOVE setting people up like that.

However...being a salesman....sometimes I slip stuff like that in just to see if people are listening.
 
Well, since I would never go to a salesman for an HDMI cable, I cant really imagine what I would say.
Monoprice makes these scenarios a non-issue.
 
I would think that:
A. He's dumb as fuck/been lied to in training.
B. He thinks that I am dumb as fuck.

You know what you can blast this guy all you want, but I NEED extra nitrogen for the speed, as speed means that my 1080p is better than those cheap cables, and to make my 1s & 0s better quality. Now my colors and picture are better because my digital signal is better quality. BIGGER ones, BIGGER zeros, who doesn't want that?

Cables are the bread and butter for B&M stores. A lot of stuff (like computers and TVs) they sell pretty close to cost, so cables, warranty plans, etc. are how they really make money. And that's why the salespeople try to shove that crap down your throat.
 
Haha reminds me of a sales guy explaining the differences between 60/120/240hz and telling the guy SD analog tv was like 3 hz. I started laughing right there.

I'm definitely not violent nor condone violence but an occasional whipping is definitely acceptable in the name of attitude adjustment! 😉
