Stage III Roush Review

It's about 47k, right up there in Z06 territory. Biggest thing going for it is the fact that you can get it in a convertable since the Z06 only comes in a hardtop.

sammyson True, most people can't do it, but you can take it to a performance shop and throw the $5-10k into real power!

I am a big mustang fan and even I think it looks a bit ricey. The Yellow color doesn't help...

<< Yeah, but the Mustang isn't the one going the way of the Dodo because of poor sales...buh bye Camaro and Trans-Am/Firebird >>

poor marketing led to poor sales.. GM's own fault.. bean counters should be shot. whens the last time you saw an fbody commercial? thats right, you haven't because they didn't do any.

...and its still a Mustang. :p thanks but no thanks. the Z28 and Stang GT can be modded to be fast as hell, but they are still miles below the Vette in class and finish.

also you can get a convertible Z06.. there are aftermarket vendors who will convert a Z06 hardtop to a convertible for a price. :) check out the DuPont registry for an ad for just this

just get an older stang and spend about $10K on the engine and tranny and you'll spank just about anything :) I like the older models anyways.

its true, theres no replacement for displacement, and the 350 has a lot more ponies than the 4.6 litre the current stangs have.

my bro has a 302 stroked to 347 with a vortex on it, it puts the smack down on any stock car :)

<< What about if you don't work on cars?
Would you really buy yourself a new car and then TRY and modify it yourself?
Yea great idea if your a mechanic or such, but what about people that don't do that?
Someone who likes performance cars, but does not jump into a pile of grease to get it.
And Ive see many home mods, that frankly, look and work like trash.
It may be dumb for someone to pay a large price for the performance you can get out of half the money. But the same thing goes computers, yea you can build them yourself better then dell can. But not everyone wants to bust knuckles and swap parts all day.
>>

okay, so if you don't know how to work on cars or are too lazy to, then you can still buy the aftermarket parts, take them to a qualified mechanic to install them, and still save money over buying a pre-packadged expensive stickered up ground-effected car
