What are the ergonomics of this one like?

(For some reason it makes me feel old that I have to ask questions like this now.)

$41.90 after GCO

You have to pay about $8.00 for shipping, don't you? So, it will be about $50.00.

look again, shipping was included.... originally i thought it was version ii that's why i went back to edit, the amazon deal is better.

You are right. I missed that.

It's pretty comfortable, there's three levels of adjustment for height (including flat).

I agree with sisq0kidd on a lot of what he says. The knob for dimming the backlight is kind of random, it seems like it'd be better for volume. The back/forward media buttons don't seem to work in Winamp (someone tell me if I'm wrong here), but they work fine in WMP.

Overall, I like the keyboard.

Really nice feel. Different back lighting options. Laser etched keys (they wont wear out). Really solid build and heavy keyboard will last a long time.

Oddly enough the right side of the space bar wore out on mine. No abuse and no damage - just usual wear and tear. I'm extremely disappointed considering it was like $60 @ CC. :(

Edit: I should mention that until then it was a *great* keyboard. :)

Good catch on the volume knob. I was about to pull the trigger on this keyboard till I read that. I miss my old Dell keyboards that had the big, easy to grab, volume knob.

I wish you wouldn't have said that. Now I'll probably have to get one and try the comparison myself.

Where does it get its power from to light the keys? Does it need a power adapter?

Powered through USB.

OK.

Can this be connected through a PS2 connector if you use a USB to PS2 adapter?

No, it cannot. It states that in the manual when you get it.

You have to set it up in winamp.

Right click on winamp, go to options, preferences, global hotkeys and check the "enable" box.

I've also had the dinovo. I pretty much have had every single keyboard made. evar.

Dinovo Pros:
-Looks absolutely wonderful. I think it's the best looking keyboard set ever made.
-The separate numpad is a wonderful idea and it doubles as a calculator.
-Looks absolutely wonderful.
-Looks absolutely wonderful.

Dinovo Cons:
-Very slow responding keyboard. The keyboard seems to be sending its messages Parcel post to the receiver.
-The spacebar is defective. I'm serious. I've owned 1 and tested 2 more dinovos and they both seem to suffer from the same problem. Sometimes the spacebar doesn't register if you're typing too fast.
-The laptop looking keys take some time getting use to

Eh, I guess no keyboard out there can do it all.

I looked at one at Circuit City and I'm not impressed with the build quality. The keys especially look cheap. Is this a situation where the item is better than its looks?

Some say that this is really sturdy and some say that the keys wear off! Which one is it?
