You're not worried about having a very strong magnet right above your drives?
btw, Very nice workshop.

It's not going to end up there. And anyway, people do that all the time - that is, place pumps in a bay like I did. Doesn't seem to cause them troubles.

And thanks for the workshop comment, I love it. Everything I'd ever need, and even more I won't ever need.

You've got a massive ammount of space in there. (It seems)

In where? The case or the workshop? The workshop is a converted 8 car + garage, disconnected and out back.

We have 2 mills, 2 lathes, routers, drill press, english press, MIG welder, table saw, huge air compressor, air conditioning, bandsaw, jigsaw, metal bandsaw, ...

We are planning on getting CNC controllers for the mill, and a CNC router or plasmatorch >)

I know

The perks of having a weaponsmith/tool guru as a father. I will be leaving for Austin again in 3 days though, so a workshop 3 hours away isn't very useful. Later on, however, I will begin my tool obsession.

Sure, you can sleep on a mattress stuffed with Snap-On tools and shop rags. Make sure to switch out the 18V batteries at night to get them all charged (all 22 of them). Your rent will help pay for the climate controlled gun safes.

It can perform magic! Cools like a mofo too.

More shots to come. I just got the last of the air bubbles out of the CPU block and GPU block last night - the system is free of visible bubbles everywhere, and from what I can tell, I got all the air out of the rad too.

It might just be me, but I have to leave for Austin at 6:00am Saturday morning. It is now 4:00pm Thursday and I have nothing packed, nothing ready.

Let's weigh the options:

1) Take pictures, setup case, take more pictures, clean up wiring, take more pictures, repeat ... Upload pictures, create reply with linked pictures, reply to topic more and more.

2) Start disassembling everything, pack LCD in original packaging, get kb/mouse/router/printer/cables/computer packed, pack clothing, pack this, pack that, pack speakers, camera, ... and leave only the laptop out to surf the net tomorrow once I get done packing.

Hmm. Although I would rather do Option #1, I think that Option #2 is the correct decision

Looks like it -might- be Saturday or Sunday before any pictures get posted!

Wrong. Option #1 is the correct choice. Go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200$.

Too expensive for what it's worth IMO. These fan grills are functional and were $1.00 total.

It might be cheating, but with my A/C vent right at the open top PSU bay, I got 20C Idle, 23C case, and 33C gfx. The PSU was at 26C maybe.

And before you say "CPU lower than CASE?! NEVAR!" ... The A/C was pointed so the 3 fans sucked the cool air out ASAP. Thus, the radiator and the water and the CPU got the really cold air, and the rest of the case didn't. The airflow is bottom to top, and the bottom are in the front of the case, and the A/C was pointed at the back of the case.

I'll post the screenie ASAP.
