That would be an oddly high room temperature. If it was truly frozen it would have stayed cold for hours. Is it safe yes (if fully cooked to begin with), would I eat it though no. Then again I wouldn't have bought a frozen chicken entrée so there is that...
They probably had it stored at less than ideal temperatures for weeks or more before it got to the store.
It was frozen, so it was still cold for some hours. I went ahead and ate it, as it still seemed in good shape, and so far so good. It was a Stouffer's frozen meal.
It wouldn't be worth even a very small chance of food poisoning, but went ahead.
On the other hand, I bought a fresh-made, uncooked chicken dish, Parmesan Chicken in Creamy Sage Sauce and did something similar, and that is getting tossed.
