I dont know if this will help, but keep singing this song instead of sleeping:

This is the song that never ends
It just goes on and on, my friends
Some people -- started singing it, not knowing what it was
And now they'll keep on singing it forever just because
(repeat)

Lamb Chop o\/\/nZ J00! :D

I can relate to that. I'm a different person now, and I don't like myself all that much at the moment.

I wish you luck and the best, eakers, and hope you feel better soon.

I feel the same way. I've been angry and impatient for quite a while now. I just feel unhappy and like I'm rotting away.

I need to get back to college.

Hope you feel better eakers. Try going for a walk or to the lake or something. Something different.

Hey, I've been in the same situation before, and it sucks. I don't know if it'll work for you, this seemed to work for me:

Eat a good meal and pack your backpack, making sure to pack anything and everything you might possibly need. Then take a shower and put on some comfortable and clean clothes. Go somewhere where you can study relatively undisturbed, and can get plenty of coffee, hot chocolate, whatever drink you feel like having...

Really, just do something that makes you feel "fresh" and get yourself out of your room. Just getting out of my room was the hardest part for me. Hope I've helped a little bit.

Keep yourself busy with fun activities, and DO NOT turn down opportunities to go out with friends. Try pulling together a weekly schedule and see how hard you can stick to it. When you make your schedule, try to balance every minute of fun activity with a minute of homework/study time. That way you won't have time to sit around moping and posting on ATOT about how sad you are!

I dunno if this would work for you, but try seeing your calc prof TODAY in office hours, and tell him that you have been distracted with personal issues and cannot be expected to perform well in Wednesday's test. Tell him that since add/drop has passed, you will need help getting through the class (tutoring or private office hours etc.) If the prof agrees to help you/find you help, then you can ask him about the possibility of reweighting your grade so that this Wednesday's test contributes less to your overall grade. This never worked for me, but then again I'm not a girl. I know a couple of girls who've actually been able to pull this off.

EDIT: Contrary to what others have said in this thread, you do NOT need Prozac, alcohol or sex to feel better (well...good sex might help A LITTLE BIT;)) You also do not need to st4b anyone, or do anyone "in the butt".

It sounds less like teen angst garbage than clinical depression. Check to see what sort of counselling services your campus provides. Use them, and soon.

Not sure if you've heard of them, but they have these things called condoms. You see when a man and a woman love each other very much or have been drinking and throw caution to the wind they will go to a bedroom, bathroom, pool table, or old Chevy Nova and take off their clothes. If the woman likes the man very much or if she's too drunk to know better she will polish the man's doorknob. After that if the man still feels like it and is awake he will then gently lie on top of her and place his hoo hoo dilly in her cha cha and begin to thrust, withdraw, and repeat. Sometimes he will do this for upwards of 45 seconds until he sees the face of God. If the man and woman want to avoid giving each other crabs, syphilis, saber toothed crotch crickets, etc.... or having a baby they will use a condom.

Depression - if that's what you have - is definitely not teen-angst garbage. Perhaps you need to see a shrink. They may or may not prescribe some medication, but there is no reason to go on like this unless you've already traversed all courses of action and psychiatrists can often help.

You forgot the part where "the man put down $50 on the bed." :)

All this "HUGS" and other feel good stuff is ok, but I may take a hard line approach to this.

QUIT WHINNING, GET OUT OF BED, AND GET SOMETHING ACCOMPLISHED!!!.

Best way to beat depression is to do something and feel good about it.

You want something to be depressed about? How about this:

I have a 2 month old son, a wife, 2 dogs who depend on me. Due to me being laid off, my house is now in foreclosure, my car and truck are about to be repossesed, and I just started back to work, but even that is not enopugh to stop any of the above things from happening. I barely make a enough right noew to put food on the table for my son, and feed the dogs. But I still get out of bed each morning and go to a job and earn a paycheck.

So you can just wallow in your little self pity world, or you can get your arse out of bed and do something.

sounds like you might be slightly anemic too. That will give you that tired feeling. Get some more iron in your system.
